The question had nothing to do with her family. Only her mother's credibility. It was a thoroughly relevant question to ask a person representing the candidate. Maybe she should have just broke down crying like her mother.

I think any reporter and any student who have caught on to Chelsea's refusal to answer the very same question on this thread are too smart to ask that again. They know she will not talk about it. I have not heard her say, "case closed".

Actually, it was asked again and more specifically. And she gave another variation of the same canned answer.
Breitbart.tv » Chelsea Grilled Again About Mother’s Credibility in Lewinsky Scandal
He asked if the scandal effected her mother's credibility, not her mother. And I do think it did, and the question is a valid one to ask a person campaigning for her.

Like a person and their credibility aren't inseperable. It was a personal question about her parents love life and public humiliation. How would you answer such a question in regard to your mother's credibility being damaged by your father's affair?

It seems you might need a definition of credibility...
It was not a question about the love life of her parents, it was clearly a question of Chelsea whether she thought her mother lost credibility as a result of the Lewinski affair. Where she made several public appearances in support of her husband who had been a notorious "flirt" before. And again, if you don't think she was harmed by that fiasco, you are in denial. As the link states...

Build your credibility before persuading. Understand what builds and destroys it. Protect it like a baby, because once lost it can be impossible to recover. Use it to gain commitment without having to argue your case.

I like this answer on this link...
Chelsea reminds me of her mother. The press treats her with kid gloves, but she is a 27 years-old grown woman. Obviously, she can just answer the question. She mentions that her campaigning at the 70 other universities didn't prompt the Lewinsky scandal so why here? Well, her mother's papers weren't made available until recently. Now, if she's old enough to campaign for her mother, she's old enough to answer any question. She's old enough to belittle President George Bush while campaigning. She reminded me of her mother by her attacking the person who asks the question and putting them on the defensive, but she goes one step farther and attacks the very institution itself. She's a Clinton through and through and fully coached by her parents.

I understand, but the fact is, Bill had the affair and humiliated his wife, Chelsea's mother. He told Hillary that it was a lie, and she believed him. Her credibility is not on the line at all and the questioner knew that. It was a stupid question to ask a person's child. And that affair had no effect on her credibility. A woman does not have to leave her husband when he cheats in order to keep her credibility, that is asinine. And it is a private matter for the family alone to deal with, it's bad enough we had to hear about it every single day through the investigation and his impeachment proceedings.

And this is what we are discussing again, when our current president has screwed us over in a manner that is unprecedented.

2 things...
We are talking about her credibility with people other than just you, she trying to win an election.

We are talking about Hillary. That's the topic here. Bush has already screwed the country and is leaving.

You seem to like talking about everything except what is relevant.
