Angry Obama Lashes Out at Clinton - AOL News

Boy, this gets wilder by the day.

Hillary is looking for any, and ever chance she possibly can to stop Obama's poll numbers in Pennslyvania from growing as they have been doing so. She must have an overwhelming victory- not just a 3 to 5 recent victory to cut into Obama's lead.
Hillary seems to have learneda new word - elitist. Perhaps someone can explain to me how one who claims 110 million dollars in income over the last few years can claim that someone else (but not her) is "elitist". Especially in a state where the median income is slightly more than just $42,000 yearly.I'm just a bit fuzzy on that one.

She quite obviously isn't thinking with her head, and probably not the little ol' pocketbook, either, stuffed with her money.

I don't think she has any chance of a total whitewashing of Obama, given that he has gained on her in poll points. I think we are looking at Obama being the Democratic nominee for president.

We still haven't seen (or heard) the last of Hillary. With just over a week to go; I'm sure if Obama uses the wrong fork at dinnertime; her campaign will try to spin it as either something that insults Pennslyvania voters, or something that should scare them.
As far as McCain putting his two cents into this last incident: I think it is more that he wants Clinton as his opponent; and not Obama. His campaign people (as well as Hillary's) still haven't figured out just how this junior senator from Illinois has attracted such a national following. Therefore, it will be hard; if not impossible to design a campaign to defeat him.

Correct, H80. And for the same reason we are seeing now. A younger member of Congress is challenging the Washington power set.

I'll bet he really does. IF Hillary becomes the nominee, then she will be eaten alive by a united Republican Party voting practically monolithically for McCain. I know a few Republicans/conservatives in my own family who actually like Barack and who might break away and not vote for McCain if Obama secures the nomination, yes "Obamicans" are very real. Conversely, those same people who like Obama REALLY don't like Clinton and will vote for McCain if she gets the Dem. nomination. Of course this is just a viewpoint relative to my own experiences and I don't know if the same holds true for others.

But I'm just sayin...

I think we're back to my original point in the Democratic race, Mike. Hillary must win in Pennslyvania; and win big. Many people say that a win is a win; but when we're talking about proportional delegation division, the only way she is going to cut into Obama's lead is to have an overwhelming win-one that must be at least ten percentage points or more. Anything less really won't help her. And she will then be under much more pressure from Party leadership to step aside. More superdelegates will start jumping to Obama within the week after Pennslyvania's primary if Hillary doesn't win; and win big.
It's unlikely- given her originally large lead going into this state's primary- but a loss will sink her completely. I think she knows this; but that a large win will give her time to hope the DNC can give her Florida and Michigan. She's pretty much running out of cards to play.
