I think Hillary would make a better President. It's time for the US to catch up to more progressive countries like Pakistan, Turkey and Britain by putting a woman in charge.

On the contrary, despite Obama's *slight* lean to the left of Clinton (they're both essentially in the same position however: just right of center); statistically he's much more favorable to independents and 'conservative Democrats', more than either Clinton or McCain.

Hillary on the other hand, say what you want about her, has developed an entire industry of hate around her on both sides of the isle and in between. I'm not saying I agree with the hate rhetoric, it's just a political reality. Go up against a Clinton and statistically speaking, the Republicans gain significantly in campaign funds.

As for progression, Gary, when will the UK have a colored Prime Minister?? Perhaps you're afraid that if Obama is elected, we would have caught up and surpassed your own native country in one swoop!

So you're saying FOX News is wrong??!?

In the 24 hours since the polls closed in Pa Hillary has raised $10m in campaign funds. Somebody must like her!

In the areas that really matter the US will never catch up nor surpass the UK!

Given that the black population in the UK is under 2%, it is statistically unlikely that we will have a black PM anytime soon.

We have a Scottish PM right now which shows a remarkable degree of tolerance IMHO.

However we have many East Asian MP's and even a few Muslim Lords in the House of Lords.

How many Muslims in the US Senate?

By the way HAPPY ST GEORGE'S DAY

She's also running on debt. $10 million is a goal stated by her campaign, not an actual statistic. Obama has however, despite the lack of a large core of corporate donors like Clinton has, consistently raised more money than Clinton mostly by a lot of small donors.

But you're going to have to remember, we're still in the primary elections. Come the general, if Clinton is the nominee, you'd definitely see the Hillary haters coming out of the woodwork en masse.

And anyway, that $10 million wouldn't even pay off all her debt she had by the end of march. Does that say something about her fiscal responsibility??

Touché!

I wonder what the British attitude is toward atheists?

It would be interesting to see the toleration of those who advocate sharia law, but accepting good rational humanists is too much.

It would be nice to see a country, such as Great Britain, remain British. They are an old world country and not supposed to be the "melting pot" that America was supposed to be. The experiment of America has shown a lack of national identity with everyone crawling out of their ethnic rock and demanding their rights and own culture unheeded. A black British Prime Minister would almost be as bad as a black queen. Before long you would have Muslims gaining the right to scream their call to prayer 5 times a day from bloody Big Ben!

So a fifth generation black British person isn't British? I guess that means you're not American?

That's correct. America is different because it was created from immigrants. Britain is an old world country where the only true Britons are those with several hundred years of lineage. Princess Diana was killed on this very premise because she about to marry an Arab.
