Wouldn't want to "disenfranchise" all those voters. I know it was a HUGE deal in Fla a few years ago with the hanging chad incident.

Idiocy. This is true only when counting Michigan and Florida; the former of which Obama wasn't even on the ballot!

And even when you do count the two states, technically she's only ahead by three thousandths of a percent of total Democratic votes cast.

Meanwhile, Obama consistently beats her in popular opinion polls which include independents and Republicans.

Do we really want a President who can't be bothered to register on the ballot in a major state like Michigan??

Four Democratic candidates removed their names from the ballot (and one, Dennis Kucinich unsuccessfully sought the removal of his name, what ever that means).

Only Clinton and Dodd were on the ballot.

Clinton loves the opportunity of an unchallenged beauty contest. If she really cared about the voters in Michigan and Florida then maybe she actually would have campaigned there? Or maybe she kept her name in those two states so she can make empty remarks like she's making now (that she got the most votes)??

I don't remember saying that. And anyway, the point was that it wasn't a win for Clinton.

She is only trying to produce more turmoil as the Dems get closer to the end of the primaries. This, because when all is said and done, might swing some still-undecided superdelegates. It is also one of the reasons why Howard Dean and the DNC want those superdelegates to make their choice now ( or ASAP); and stop playing around.

Declarations like this fool no one, except perhaps the speaker.

(I find this reminiscent of a few debaters on this site who feel the need to declare victory, just before they slink off in defeat.)
