It wouldn't be petty if they didn't sugar coat the truth. Hell, they will even sugarcoat the latest pentagon report (because they have to). They will use their own actions that have sent a country into civil war as ammunition against their opposing party. Just as Bush used Kerry's Vietnam record against him this is no different.
