I do not believe being 'gay' and being 'black' are synomynous with one another. Being black is a genetic trait and something you are born into being. Being gay is a mental condition.

Ahhh yes.
The "expert" speaks...
What was it you said the other day? Something about being sick of people who have no real knowledge on a subject speaking out about it?

Being gay is not a "mental condition". It's an inherent attribute.

The fact that sexual orientation DOES HAVE a genetic attribute has been proven. Again and again.

You are making faulty comparisons here founditt. There are just as many experts that state being 'gay' has nothing to do with genetics at all. I have also read personal blogs of 'gay' people who state that feelings for the same sex and being 'gay' did not begin until later adolescence and adulthood.

You are comparing apples to oranges. Being 'gay' and being 'black' are not synomynous with one another.

No. There aren't.
But feel to continue to talk on subjects you know nothing about...

The vast majority of the "experts" acknowledge a genetic link.

The time-line of sexual attraction doesn't mean it isn't genetic.
Heterosexual men often find girls "icky" one day, and then attractive and something to be infatuated by the next.

Does that mean that heterosexuality is ALSO not genetic?

Do you understand what an "analogy" is?
It doesn't require the issues involved to be "synomynous"...

Homosexual sex IS natural. Found throughout NUMEROUS species in nature.
Homosexual sex is just as "normal" for me as heterosexual sex is to you.

And "perversion" is relative. Just a few decades ago, people considered oral sex and masturbation to be perversions.

Does that make you a bigot then, because you wouldn't vote for Pat Robertson?

And don't you realize how you blindly declared me as a "bigot" without even listening to my REASONS WHY I wouldn't vote for Robertson?
It is your opinion that homo sex is just as normal as hetero sex. It is my opinion it isn't. It is your opinion Pat Robertson is a nut job. It is my opinion homos are nut jobs. Looks like we are all bigots according to your reasoning.

Yes, I know what an analogy is. And your 'analogy' stinks. Comparing your mental defect with that of a black persons color of skin is shameful. Comparing the civil rights movement to the gay rights movement is also shameful.

It's interesting to note that when you start talking about "opinions", you are typically in the process of ignoring MULTIPLE arguments which were put forth.
Arguments for which you have no counter.

Because I can point to a VARIETY of things Pat Robertson has said which demonstrate he is a nut job.

No. Once again, you gloss over the facts.
I think Pat Robertson, ONE INDIVIDUAL, is a nutjob. Does that make me bigotted because I have judged ONE PERSON based on the lack of sanity of that person's actions???

You, on the other hand, are judging an ENTIRE GROUP of people based on ONE ATTRIBUTE.

Again, if you can't see what that says about you, then you are REALLY missing the point.

You say that because your personal prejudice doesn't allow you to see the similarities.
You demonstrate prejudice in your words of saying homosexuality is a "mental defect".

But I guess if saying my 'analogy' "stinks" is the best you got, then so be it.

What that says about me means nothing. It is your opinion only. I am not going to feel guilty because I will not vote for homos any more than you will not feel guilty for not voting for fundamentalist Christians. Pat Robertson is only one example. You and I know you would not vote for any fundamentalist Christian. That is an entire group. You're not different than anyone else and if I am a bigot then you are also a bigot.

You confess that you would LIE in Bush's shoes, and you don't think that means something?

Jesus Christ Alias. We IMPEACHED a president because he lied under oath.
And you think that it is "my opinion only".

Man. You REALLY have no cohesive perspective of morality, do you. You just habitually look for excuses to break the rules.

I never said I wouldn't vote for fundamentalist Christians.
AGAIN you lie.

It's becoming a habit with you...

Pat Robertson is the WORST example. Seriously. The vast majority of Christians, fundamentalist or otherwise, are nothing like Robertson.

I find it rather insulting that you try to lump Robertson in with the rest. It would be like trying to compare the Khristianity of the KKK to the Christianity of the rest of the population.

That's a recurring habit with you isn't it.
If somebody else is breaking a rule, you see it as okay to break that rule too, don't you.
If I am supposedly bigotted against Christians, then that justifies your bigotry against homosexuals.
