You're an amusing anecdote on partisanship.

The article states: "House Republicans and Democrats traded accusations of improper politicking Wednesday as they sparred over a resolution commemorating the September 11 terrorist attacks."

Yet your comment ignores what Republicans says, and asks why Democrats don't have anything nice to say about their "fellow Americans".

I may agree with the politicians that if Osama Bin Laden was captured, and or killed, it would likely change anything since the main issue is the Al Qaeda network. But then again, why let a man who ordered the attacks go free?? Are you kidding me?? I say capture him and torture him the exact way they would torture us. My only dream would be the end of the Al Qaeda network, but I don't know if that's possible. Hell i'm sure it was a dream of many back in the Reagan years for the Cold War to come to an end, and because of the administrations arms race, indeed the Cold War came to an end.

Maybe, just maybe the Al Qaeda network will be weakened to nill, and somehow they will collapse much like the collapse of the Soviet Union. If that day is to come, Bush will be remembered as one of the greats. I just don't think that will happen though the way the war is being fought...I am indeed, sure as hell, that the Al Qaeda network HAS been weakened greatly since our troops have been there. But the downside is the many losses of our offense.

I wouldn't overlook the symbolism and meaning of it.
If the Taliban captured George Bush, of course we'ld be able to move on.
But there would be a huge and obvious impact....

All the dems can do is bitch and moan. What is the dem plan to win the war? Make sure that we can't use any means necessary to find info. Nice. That will surely help us win the war. Duh.

But you repeatedly NEVER SHOW WHY they are supposedly necessary.

Take wire-tapping for example. I have PROVEN that the vast majority of the efforts have been against innocent civilians.
HOW is wire-tapping innocent civilians "necessary"?
