I think you're right.

Obama is a "rising star". But I don't think his time has come to run from President. I'd bet on 2012, and if not then, certainly 2016. But I seriously doubt he'll go in 2008.

Woa? He was an elected governor of Texas and successful. He sold his share of the Texas Rangers for a profit. I don't think that makes him a corporate failure. The military deserter question is just that, a question. I didn't know he was a drug addict. I suppose he did the usual drugs everyone from my generation did during the 60s and 70s. I did every drug there is and I'm not a drug addict.

This country does not elect senators for president. The last time a senator became president was JFK and by most accounts Mayor Daley of Chicago stole the election for him.

I still ask, what has Obama done to earn my vote.
