| There are times that the Republican party is just plain not bright... The whole issue of Michael J Fox and Parkinson's, and stem cell research is one perfect example. The MAJORITY of the public, almost 70%, SUPPORTS embryonic stem cell research. A majority DISAPPROVE of President Bush's actions in vetoing IVF embryonic stem cell research funding. Michael J Fox has done some campaigning on the issue. And the Republicans bit, and started making this a bigger issue. Rush opened his fat, drug-addicted mouth and brought more attention to it, raising the level of interest. Giving Michael J Fox a means to respond in the news and via other resources that want to relay his message responding to Rush. Over and Over again, the republicans are reminding people that their commander in chief opposes IVF embryonic stem cell research, not meshing with the public's opinion. The republicans are reminding people of another issue that they disapprove of certain "republicans'" responses on. Giving another reason for people to vote against the Republicans on...
