Ha. As opposed to hitting our childrens' pocketbooks in the form of debt.

Tax and spend is a whole lot better than borrow and spend.

Very true, chrisg.

However, no matter how many times Republicans play this card, they're ignorant to the Democrats' policies; which undoubtedly would be to keep tax cuts for the middle class and repeal them for the rich only (as a party in general anyway). The Republicans of coarse see it as "raising taxes" because they are rich.

But I don't think they're playing this card because they think its true, I think they're playing this card because its the only one they have. They know incumbents in Congress have an upperhand when the economy is in good shape (even though we're screwed in the long run, economically). They can't let Iraq surface.

I've heard that lie before about taxing only the rich. That is bullshit. Tax is tax. Taxing the rich sounds good, but it doesn't ever come out that way. What dems mean when they say tax the rich is tax the corporations and small business owners more. That leads to a slower economy. No taxes period.

I am not a human being having a spiritual experience, I am a spiritual being having a human experience.

The ancient Greeks used to say, "You shall know a man by the friends that he keeps." Given the nature of their friends and advisers, what are we to conclude about the Republican party:
Stop the madness before us it stops!

No taxes? I like your thinking, but... how do we pay off the debt and keep the country running? Even if we stopped spending entirely, we'd still have the debt to pay off.
