Judge Reggie B. Walton assumed his position as a United States District Judge for the District of Columbia on October 29, 2001, after being nominated to the position by President George W. Bush and confirmed by the United States Senate. Judge Walton was also appointed by President Bush in June of 2004 to serve as the Chairperson of the National Prison Rape Reduction Commission, a two-year commission created by the United States Congress that is tasked with the mission of identifying methods to curb the incidents of prison rape. Former Chief Justice Rehnquist appointed Judge Walton to the federal judiciary's Criminal Law Committee, effective October 1, 2005. Judge Walton previously served as an Associate Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia from 1981 to 1989 and 1991 to 2001, having been appointed to that position by Presidents Ronald Reagan in 1981 and George H. W. Bush in 1991. While serving on the Superior Court, Judge Walton was the court's Presiding Judge of the Family Division, Presiding Judge of the Domestic Violence Unit and Deputy Presiding Judge of the Criminal Division. Between 1989 and 1991, Judge Walton served as President George H. W. Bush's Associate Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy in the Executive Office of the President and as President Bush's Senior White House Advisor for Crime. Judge Reggie B. | No Judge is going to allow testimony that strays from the charge in this case or any other case regardless of who he/she was appointed to the bench. It is immaterial to the case, and as such plays no relevance. As far as Vice President Cheney being implicated, in this trial that will be highly unlike, why??? The Grand Jury is over, and unless direct evidence is presented during testimony there has been no proof of wrong doing on the part of the Vice-President, Karl Rove or the President. The only question is did Libby perjure himself. You will note that he is not being charged with the crime of divulging top secret information, the status of Ms. Plame. So it would seem despite the report there was no outting of anyone. You know I find it very riduculous, that a woman who was a regular in the DC Social Circle with her husband was at any time covert. If she was, what the hell was she doing in DC, it is against the law for the CIA to spy on American Citizens. dmk Conservatism, I repeat is not an ideology. It does not breed fanatics....But if you want men who seek, reasonably and prudently, to reconcile the best in wisdom of our ancestors with the change which is essential to a vigorous civil social existence, then you will do well to turn to conservative principles -Russell Kirk- | |||||||||||||||||||||

| Did you know there is a bill before the House right now to"compensate" Plame, after she QUIT her job at the CIA, they want to give her compensation, by special bill of Congress....others who quit don't get to draw special "compensation." Quitting is a choice. She's entitled to nothing. But your Democrat congress is going to "compensate" her anyway. this should cause a tax payer revolt, but if the media doesn't even tell the people they are being jerked off by people being paid to jerk them off, guess what? They get jerked off some more. regards, vharlow SongLyricsDatabase.com! Looking for those words? Check it out! As scarce as Truth is, the supply has always been in excess of the demand. --J. | It is so obvious that the Bush administration was so bull headed about the Iraq war that they outted Plame in spite after her husband voiced his objection over the lies that brought us to war. ![]() Payback. This time its for real. There must be a democratically controlled congress or something... good to hear the whining again. --- help me Instant Runoff Voting, you're my only hope --- "There is no such thing as laziness. | That's just stupid, Hev - and you know it! Valerie Plame - and her crybaby husband - were not going to affect the War in Iraq one way or the other, nor was their identity. | |||||||||||||||||||||

| Indeed, Wilson lied. Repeatedly. He did speak to people in Niger who told him that Iraqi's had inquired about yellow cake. It is now common knowledge. regards, vharlow SongLyricsDatabase.com!
