I agree. And it's mostly empty rhetoric too. A lot of talk but not a lot of action. They're not afraid to yell and scream about how bad the war is but they're too afraid to use the Congressional power of the purse to do anything about it.

Why the hell isn't this new congress stepping up to the bat?

Could it be that we are locked in a 2 party system? Two sides of the same coin?

Why were people STUPID enough to believe they would?


It's just like all this nut-less screaming about impeaching Bush. Now that the Dems have control of Congress they're not doing ONE THING to make it happen - which PROVES that all their ranting and yelling these last couple years was a huge pile of steaming BS.
