I followed this very closely. Mrs. Plame is the victim of a very unfortunate incident, created by angry men in the White House. So that's why she no longer works for the CIA. She can't be protected anymore.

Well, again, her outing is not the fault of the White House, but rather her own husband. It was he who said the adminstration lied in an op-ed piece, which by the way, is at odds with what he claimed at his CIA debriefing, in which he stated that although Iraq did not succeed in getting Uranium, it did attempt to do just that.

Not to mention his lie that he was sent by the Vice President, when in fact he was sent by the CIA. In his haste to make a name for himself he thought little of his wife. And now she sits before Congress trying to pass the blame to someone else. Hell, the first person she should have blamed is her husband.

She was outed first in her husband's Who's Who entry...even before Armitage outed her. What really upsets me is the silence throughout this whole affair of Armitage and Colin Powell, of whom I once had a high opinion. That's no longer the case.

What should be noted by all is that her testimony is in direct contradiction to that under oath of CIA officials, and others in this affair. Facts are facts. No crime was committed in her outing. Yet Scooter Libby was hounded until he could be accused of something.

Valerie Plame is trying to get Congress to pay her a salary for life because she QUIT her government job.... due to an outing that was not the direct action of the administration.

I long ago quit a government job...can I get Congress to pass a special law just so I can get a salary for life???

Is this fair to anyone at all?

As much as republicans scream about the Plame case we still find one Mr. Libby found guilty on multiple counts.

Multiple counts of WHAT?
