I agree with tad 100% here. The disgrace is that this recognition was so delayed, that many that deserved to be included did not survive to be. It may be worth noting that the PBS NewsHour reports that these magnificent heroes will not each be issued individual genuine gold medals. Instead, one gold medal will be presented to the Smithsonian, for display. The surviving Tuskegee Airmen will be issued bronze replicas. Is that not just one more slight to these brave, capable, worthy citizens? Quote:
