If this doesn't say volumes about the momentum and power the democrats are gaining in this government, nothing else does!!!

Momentum and power, get real. Democrats are doing the same thing that Republicans got blamed for doing following their 1994 victories in the House, getting even for being out of power. This Congress has not done a thing in its first 100 days. No legislation has been enacted into law, instead, all we have seen is talk, talk and more talk.

The People spoke quite clearly in the '06 elections.
"The momentum and power the democrats are gaining in this government" is the will of the People as democratically expressed on election day.

U.S. President Bush is a liar. He is a proven liar. He is a self-confessed liar.
He is party to, has presided over what may be the worst U.S. foreign policy blunder in history.
He has claimed his War in Iraq makes us more safer.
Significant indications to the contrary are that we are significantly less safe.
And in fact, we have already lost more to this needless, counterproductive War in U.S. military fatalities than we lost to the attacks of 09/11/01 (which may have provoked it).

They've done EXACTLY what the people have been wanting them to do, make the current administration be accountable for the actions (finally).

No...actually, the democrats are out=classing the republicans by curbing this president's appetite for being a dictator by asserting their power in this government...and in addition, they are controlling an out of control spending spree of stolen monies in this war from favored contractors who do not have to do bid...and as to legislation...there's been plenty...do you know the difference between legislation and law?

incompetent... certainly, at least so far... but what worries me is how effective he has been at damaging our country. It will take us a generation to recovery from the evils done by this president.

The U.S. voter gave the Democrats this power - we all need to remember this.

The Swiftboat Veterans for Truth came forward and defeated a guy whose Vietnam war record was presented as something it wasn't. Because they did step forward, with the help of Fox and many many individual contributors across the country including me, my husband, my brother, and several other vets and family members of Vietnam vets, because they did take on that political battle to defeat a guy who was lying about his conduct during the war, Vietnam Vets in this country have once again become proud of their service to their country, and rightly so.

I guess I could never be appointed to any position because I gave them money. That's quite ok with me. I'll always be proud that I sided with the guys who stopped a communist sympathizing, superior elitist lying wishy-washy jerk from becoming president of the United States of America.

They took their oaths seriously, to defend this country against all enemies foreign and domestic. Some think Kerry is domestic....frankly, since he sides consistently with foreigners and elitists, to me he will always be a traitor.
