The Democrat's do not want to further provide funding for the war??

Granted I do understand that they want a deadline or troop pullout, but if that is something that will not happen under this administration, it's dumb to not support funding for the troops/war which will help them in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Oh wait a second...they would support the funding with strings attached (funding for programs Democrats support - not related to the War) Stupid.

It has been said many times that the Democrats are being accused of "micromanaging" the war in Iraq. Yet I have not seen what their response is. There have been debates and arguments left and right in both chambers, but it is all talk, without the democrats striking back on the accusation of micromanaging the war.

Have they responded in direct words to that?

Evil empire? haha

Bush is only in office for another year...let him have his war. But for Christ sakes...at least give him the funding so that the troops will be more safer in this war.

I honestly think (possibly hope?) that what we're seeing is a lot of saber rattling.
Democrats have been out of power and essentially ignored for a while now.
They're doing this to send a message to Bush that his "great uniter" schtick of ignoring the Democrats before isn't going to work now.

And quite frankly, Bush himself has taken a hard line, "ignore all the opposition" approach until now. War in Iraq is overwhelmingly not supported, but he doesn't give a crap.

I think a lot of this is just to get his attention. To try and make him realize that he's going to HAVE TO do business with the democrats.

Because isn't his approach to the war just as much ignoring the Democrats as the Democrat's approach is ignoring him?

I've said this many times since Bush was re-elected in 2004, and took the oath of office again in 2005: He is a lame duck president.

I still wonder if the democrats are going to answer when they are or were accused of micromanaging the war.

General Westmoreland said once that if congress had not interfered in the Vietnam War, the USA would have won.

This is Bush's war for now. Congress and the Senate may have or are already starting to run it for him, vetoes or not.

The war in Afghanistan is merly folowing the agenda of the globolist illuminati scum who are hell bent on world domination AND CONTROLL GOVERMENTS BEHIND CLOSED DOORS. They have been in existence from the beginning of time and take part in luciferian sacrifices .There is mountains of evidence of this on Alex Jones website infowars.com. Also you can watch the footage where he caught various high members of goverment enaging in this at Bohemian Grove. Simply Put Alex Jones Into Video Google and many of his excellant videos will appear. If any one is sceptical of this they wont be after watching the footage presented
