Like I said, it boggles my mind that seemingly intelligent people would take the word of a conspiracy nut website instead of doing some investigating on their own.

There is no 9/11 conspiracy you morons.

I AM doing investigation on my own. My curiousity has been peaked. Quite frankly, I find it all hard to believe too. However, there is alot of evidence that needs further explaination. By the way, thanks for the link. I want to learn about all sides of this so-called conspiracy.

Come on Knot. You know how much Americans LOVE a conspiracy. It would just simply be UNAmerican if there weren't those in our country saying it wasn't a conspiracy.

And just like the moon landing conspiracy, there isn't any evidence, just supposition and opinion.

I don't know about this one. I've been reading the engineering reports and I still think there is alot to be explained. Believe me, I am FAR from convinced that this was a government conspiracy. The secondary explosions could have been part of the overall terrorist attack too.

And, as John pointed out, if the planes didn't really hit the towers, where are the planes and the passengers?

This one has got a little more substance than a faked moon landing.

The biggest thing that leads me to believe that the towers came down by demolitions is the time in which they took to fell. Within .5 seconds of freefall.

If the towers were weakened by fire or weakened by the impact of the plane itself at and around the site that still leaves... what.... 90 floors that would have slowed things down.

If people didn't know any better about that happened on 09/11, and why the buildings collapsed and came down, well they can come up with their theories. They would not think that the buildings were too hot from the fires, which caused the steel to start melting, then buckling, not being able to hold the building, the concrete started crumbling, etc.

I don't like to watch dumpy movies like the 9-11 film. Am I supposed to believe what the newspeople say or watch the film?

Just like the moon missions. I saw it all. TV coverage from the moob got better with each mission after Apollo 11. The camera on Apollo 12 suffered a malfunction when one the astronauts accidentally pointed at the sun. We know about Apollo 13. From Apollo 14 to Apollo 17, TV coverage from the moon was clearer.

Here's my thoughts on that...For it to be a conspiracy, then there's hundreds (if not thousands) of people pretending to have lost loved ones at the attack sites and on the planes...And for what reason supposedly? To justify a war in the Middle East?

For the conspiracy to hold water, then that means theres at least hundreds of passengers from 4 planes being hidden from their co-workers, family, and friends? Not to mention, a heavy casualty list of those killed on the sites that's affected thousands of family nation wide.

I'm sorry, but for that conspiracy to be true, there'd have to be one heck of a cover-up going, families torn apart for nothing. Children growing up without a parent or family member?

I realize things in our goverment are messed up. But believing what the conspiracy people are saying is even more messed up then those they say are doing the big ole cover-up thingy? Might as way say that those who created such a conspiracy are just as crazy, if not more so then the terrorists? Cause heck, if what happened on 9-11 wasn't the terrorists but our own goverment, then we're more of a danger then the terrorists so many in our country are screaming about.

No matter how bad our goverment currently is, I really can't see our goverment purposely killing thousands of our citizens, on home territory...I can't see them tearing apart thousands of families and leaving the children of those families orphans...Simply so our goverment can engage in a war in the Middle East.

The first thing about any conspiracy is, the fewer people involved and knowing about it happening, the better it'll succeed. Simply put, no goverment is so desperate to fight a war that they're willing to involve hundreds and thousands of 'co-conspirators' in said conspiracy. And that's where this conspiracy theory fails...Because it's claiming hundreds to thousands of people are involved on some kind of cover-up in the first place.

And we know of one other nagging conspiracy that will never go away: how many shooters were there on the day JFK was shot? Some said there were two.

And why did Jack Ruby shoot Oswald? Was it to silence Oswald because Oswald acted on behalf of Cuba? Ruby said he did it because he did want to see JFK's family go through a trial in Dallas. Oswald denied the shooting, so a trial would have been inevitable. Ruby didn't want to see that happen.

I plan on visiting the JFK Presidential Library later this year when I visit Boston.

Like I said earlier to Knot. Americans love conspiracies.

I do have to say this though. I for one am glad that I'll be here when they release the confidential files concerning Kennedy's assassination. It should be an interesting read to say the least. Especially in the face it'll either confirm or lay to rest the theories of 'what if' surrounding his death.
