Think this might put this subject to bed once and for all?

Why would Australian astronomers lie?

"

It was one giant leap for mankind, and it was taken at 12.56 pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Monday 21 July 1969.
Six hundred million people, or one fifth of mankind at the time, watched Neil Armstrong's first steps on the Moon. Three tracking stations were receiving the signals simultaneously. They were CSIRO's Parkes Radio Telescope, the Honeysuckle Creek tracking station outside Canberra, and NASA's Goldstone station in California. The signals were relayed to Mission Control at Houston. During the first few minutes of the broadcast, NASA alternated between the signals from its two stations at Goldstone and Honeysuckle Creek, searching for the best quality images. When they switched to the Parkes pictures, they were of such superior quality, that NASA remained with the Parkes TV pictures for the remainder of the 21/2-hour telecast. "

The signals for the televised moon walk came FROM A RADIO TELESCOPE IN AUSTRALIA!!!! That was picking them up from THE MOON!!!!

I don't have the inclination, to argue all these posts but I had to say something here.
You failed to mention that the whole event was shown on a black and white TV, at Kennedy Space Center, and all the reporters were forced to film that monitor to make all the television footage. So really, who cares about signal strength? Its irelavant. The footage is of such poor quality, (and made that way on purpose) that good anylization is difficult (or did we overlook that fact).
Have a great night.

It's nice to have you back tyreay. I hope your back operation turned out ok.

I was talking in the YouTube comment section and somebody showed me this.

Start watching at the 50 second mark. Collins' jacket flaps just like it would in gravity when they were supposed to be halfway to the moon. He's exercising to check his heartbeat or something.

So his jacket moved. Big flippin' deal. Just because somethings in space it can't move? What do YouTube video's prove anyway?

Alright, who forgot the launch code?

It's being pulled down by gravity. It wouldn't have any weight halfway to the moon.

Sure it is being pulled by gravity. All worlds and moons have that. Whatever gravity the moon has, it is only a sixth compared to our homeworld. Duh!!!!
