You failed to mention that the whole event was shown on a black and white TV, at Kennedy Space Center, and all the reporters were forced to film that monitor to make all the television footage. So really, who cares about signal strength? Its irelavant. The footage is of such poor quality, (and made that way on purpose) that good anylization is difficult (or did we overlook that fact).

Did you expect it to be anything better than the technology there was at that time. It was as good as it was. You should really contact Armstrong and Aldrin to see if they really walked on the moon.

How have I been wrong the entire time. Throughout this thread I have talked about solar wind, gravity, everything imaginable. Highway80west and AlicornsPrayer have said the same thing I have, they may have said it before me, but they still said what I did. I fail to see how I'm wrong. The horrible image from space, it's the '60's, what do you expect? HD pictures or something?

Face the fact that there are those that NEED to believe in goverment conspiracies to make things more interesting in their lives.

Recently, five things have convinced me that the Apollo program was a criminal fraud:-
1. Astronauts being supported by springy wires and kangaroo-hopping on Kubrik's film-set.
2. Mike Collins' swinging and dangling jacket clearly being pulled down by gravity when he was supposed to be in zero gravity.
3. The immoral influence and administrative power of Wernher von Braun and his fellow Nazi's who dominated America's Apollo space effort and who had a clear motive for faking and thus stitching up the US.
4. The immoral Richard Nixon becoming President in Jan 1969 and who OK'd the deception.
5. The resignation of the Head of NASA three days before the Apollo 11 launch.

One only has to join up the dots!

If Mike Collins was really in zero gravity his jacket would be free-floating, moving up and down in random directions. It does not but displays pendulum-like motions of swinging and dangling. It is quite clearly being pulled down by earth's gravity.

The moon also has gravity. Is it that hard for people to understand? The Moon has enough gravity to keep a person on the moon, i think it has enough gravity to hold down a jacket.
