Great so it was hitler getting greedy and going for russia that caused his downfall yes? Not the glorious US invasion?

Like i said it was the rebuilding where the US helped Europe the MOST. Europe would have defeated hitler sooner or later anyways. Because of the abovementioned by yourself

The US sat back and waited until the japanese attacked them. Not for any altruistic reasons btw.

In any case, hitler held the seeds of his own destruction within him. The same type of aggression that made him take over most europe also caused him to attack russia when it was clearly not advisable. As a result he suffered collosal losses. It's called hubris. Other nations and leaders are guilty of it too these days

No. You're wrong. You really ought to do some research before you spew such utter ignorance.

Without the fighting the United States (and the token British and Canadian forces) on the West, Hitler could have taken Russia. He then would have annihilated what was left of Great Britain.

You could say that EITHER Russia or the USA saved the butt of Europe, but it would not have happened had only one of those two been involved.

In addition, you might try to remember that the USA was fighting its own war on two fronts. While we were defeating Nazism, we were at the same time defeating the Japanese.

The USA did NOT "sit back until the japanese attacked them". Up until the attack on Pearl Harbor, the USA had no reason to go to war against Japan.

Additionally, the main reason the USA did not enter the European theater of WWII earlier is a pacifist "appeasement" and isolationist mentality that said, "We don't want to get involved."

But it became inevitable.

China is communist so why doesn't the US attack them aswell? Easy answer China's 2.3 million people army. So we just pick on the smaller countries that we can take? China kinda gives me the creeps. They havent been in a major war for a long time.
