C-SPAN to air 9/11 Conference
I suggest everyone here that is free at the time of airing should see it. Its not a get-together of a bunch of 30 year old, tin-foil-hat-wearing losers that live in the basement of their mother's house; its going to host a lot of credible sources, and experts in their fields. No matter what your belief on this so-called "9/11 truth movement", I suggest you watch this because it presents a good discussion and debate opportunity.

Its going to air tomorrow (Saturday July 29th, 2006) at 8:00 pm Eastern time.

Each member of the panel brought their own particular perspective and expertise to the discussion while each maintained throughout their comments that 9/11 was an “inside job.”

Alex Jones, a progenitor of the 9/11 Truth Movement introduced the panel and acted as moderator. Professor Steven E. Jones, an expert in Physics, re-capped his vital new research which has conclusively proven that demolition incendiaries were used to bring down World Trade Center and could have only been placed there in advance of 9/11.

As a Distinguished McKnight University Professor of Philosophy at the University of Minnesota and a former Marine Corps officer, James Fetzer cut through the myths surrounding the 9/11 hijackers. Former Air Force Interceptor Pilot Robert Bowman brought up the lack of air defense on the day of 9/11 and shed light on the slough of drills conducted on 9/11 to distract the military and prevent Flights 11 & 77 from being shot down.

Yeah, I completely missed this. I had to pick my mother up from the airport. Oh well... I bet it'll be posted online anywho.

And chrisg967, yes I have read it. In fact it is sitting on my book shelf right now. If anything, it should be retitled to "9/11 Omission Report", I can't believe that blatant peice of propaganda. I mean, they left out the collapse of WTC 7 for Christ's sake! But of coarse they don't want people to direct their attention to that because its too fishy. And anyone with the cognition abilities of a three year old can point out clearly that its fall matched too coveniently with controlled demolitions, and definetly not by the slow (and UNEVEN) melting of support columns by fire (oh but of coarse lets forget the fact that a steel skyscraper has never in history fallen by fire [let alone a source of fire that came from buildings a block away] and lets also forget the fact that buildings even closer to the two main towers weren't even barely burned).

Sorry you missed the program. If you go to http://www.c-span.org/ and click on the TV schedules >> link in the top banner, you'll get today's schedule. But along the left side is a link to Previous Day. "September 11th Terrorist Attacks" is listed under the 8pm and 11pm time slots.

I'll have to read the official report.

Have you watched the Loose Change 911 Coverup? If I had not seen it first, I would probably have turned off last night's program.

Yeah I've seen it. It was a pretty good film in the sense of bringing important information, but the narrator was pretty annoying; they could have gotten a better voice (but don't mind me, that's just the move critic in me).

Here's the link to the American Scholars Symposium that C-SPAN aired. They broadcast it online, too, twice that night. Dr. Steven Jones is on about 17:40 minutes into it.

Dr. Steven Jones is the BYU physicist who actually analyzed some of the previously molten metal that was under the towers after they fell. He shows a photo of it in his PDF file, Answers to Questions, page 79 in the PDF, which is on his website.
