Just to add to the actual subject: Foley now claims he was molested by a preist when he was between the ages of 13 and 15. I have no idea what this means but I thought it worth mentioning.

He didn't offer any excuse. He said during an interview that "I've known a few white niggers in my time". He was sober. Not one person asked him to resign as far as I know.

He did more than lie about a blow job. He lied to a grand jury. That is a felony. A felony is enough to get you impeached which he was. He swore to uphold the laws of the land and therefore broke his oath.

I don't believe that the Foley scandal was a joke. He has entered rehab (which also might be an easy way out of prosecution,) and I'm sure that the truth would have been leaked to the media by now.

Why are the only closet gays, either a priest or pastor, or a Republican? Youd think in 2006, theyd just come out and say, im here and queer, and leave their wives and get over it.
