It's easy to raise accusations. It's easy to mindlessly blame people. It's much harder to face reality.

You know, I think that just because people are looking at videos, and looking at the 9/11 report, and pointing out the holes in the report, does NOT mean that the same people have to provide answers. I personally am not looking for answers from you or anyone else here, but from the government. I doubt I will get them.

But since you and others are so insistent, in my opinion, if the EPA statement about the air quality in NYC was doctored with no regard for the health of NYC citizens, then what is to stop me from conjecturing that the people on Flight 77 were just murdered and the plane destroyed? Pure speculation on my part, yet the lack of concern for residents and workers at Ground Zero is glaring.

You're right. It's one thing to ask for, and expect, answers. This is fair, legitimate and good.

But to draw insane conclusions, and insist they are right, because they cannot be proven wrong - well, that's just insane.

As far as air quality in NYC: I think you'd admit that this was an event of un-precedented proportions. I don't think anybody would have known exactly how to go about the clean-up and/or evacuation. Remember: Part of it was still a "rescue mission", and in that case the safety of the rescuers is comproomised by their job.

How can i/we know what happend???????

1. Thanks. Questioning things that don't make sense is important. Getting the answers is important, too. I do not believe our government will be forthcoming, but perhaps I'm too cynical.

2. I am not drawing conclusions, just pointing out inconsistencies. I am a detail-oriented person, it's what I do for a living. I think that insistence that a conclusion is right with no proof is illogical. Show me the proof and I might believe you.

3. Yes, it was unprecedented. Likely nobody knew at first what was in the cloud dust, although they likely had a good guess based on building content.

I work in a hospital, and we have a notion of Universal Precautions. It basically says that we cannot know for certain what disease a patient has, so use personal protection equipment to protect workers. These include gloves, lab coats, and in some cases masks and hoods (for opening vials). The same sort of reasoning and precautions could have been recommended for workers and residents of Ground Zero. Here are two EPA statements about Ground Zero:

At the bottom of this statement, they mention respirators, eye protection, breathing apparatuses, and protective clothing suits.
WHITMAN DETAILS ONGOING AGENCY EFFORTS TO MONITOR DISASTER SITES, CONTRIBUTE TO CLEANUP EFFORTS

I believe this is the doctored statement. Do a search in it for "protection" and see how many hits you get. Then look for "protective" or "respirators". I could not find them!

There is also this news article dated August 23, 2003 from seattlepi titled White House edited EPA's 9/11 reports

I don't think folks who are developing respiratory illnesses from the WTC dust/debris are included in that stipulation. I am not one who likes to sue, but I believe I would if I were an affected New Yorker.

My question is, if you're a New Yorker who is now sick, WHO ARE YOU GOING TO SUE? You really cannot - with integrity - sue the people who were doing rescue & clean-up. They're doing their best. Do you sue bin Laden?

And you're right. There are a lot of unanswered questions. And some of those questions might not have good answers - if answers at all.

But again, we're dealing with unprecedented stuff here. You CANNOT KNOW, with certainty, exactly how two sky-scrapers will stand or fall, when hit by a fully-fueled jetliner that is larger than any in the sky when the skyscraper was built. You can estimate, but you CANNOT SAY WITH CERTAINTY, the domino-effect of that kind of height, mass and weight, weakened by heat, crashing down on top of itself.

To the skeptics, and those DETERMINED to believe that there's a grand conspiracy behind it all, there will NEVER be proof that there isn't.

But the Conspiracy Theorists ARE NOT HONEST. They refuse to answer the most simple questions - like what happened to the Boeng 757 that they claim was NOT flown into the Pentagon. It just proves how blind people can really be.

Lacking the specific person who told the EPA to modify their statement, I'd sue the whole Bush administration and the EPA official(s) who caved into their demands for "national security". Hadn't thought about suing Bin Laden... heck, might as well include him and his gang of extremists.

You are right about not being able to know the effect of planes hitting buildings with certainty. We can only make educated guesses.

However, when you have an experienced pilot (who actually flew some of the planes involved in the attacks) who tells you the planes themselves are not capable of making the aerial stunts required to hit the Pentagon, it gives one pause. Capt. Wittenberg was interviewed on Wing TV on 9/16/04 - the interview is on the Wing TV archive website at http://911underground.com/wingtv/ look for "2004-09-16 Russ Wittenberg Interview: M3U, RAM, MP3" He does NOT say what happened to the plane, he just says that it was not possible for it to fly in the path that it did. Yes, this does beg the question of what happened to the plane, and the people. But do you agree that the man has the qualifications to make the claim that the plane could not do what it supposedly did?
