I also wish to thank you and everyone else that is serving now or that has ever served the Armed Forces of the United States.

Maybe we should have launched fighters from every base in the country and shot down every plane that was in the air, it was only 4546 of them. I'm sure that would have been a very popular plan.

At what point do you decide to shoot the plane down, what if a plane was shot down by mistake, what other collateral damage would there have been shooting an airliner down over NYC?

We never needed 9/11 to happen to go to Iraq, we could do that by saying that they had weapons of mass distruction. Which is reason enough. Do you honestly think that Bush just woke up one morning and was like, yeah, I want to crash planes into buildings one of them being a government building just so I can go and get at Iraq. If you really believe that then you are a "fool". Why would our government, do that honestly, and not just Bush, he is not the only one in our government. We did not know that Osama did it right away, we suspected him almost right away, since he attack the very same buildings earlier, also we know things due to intelligence. The reason the Osama family would get a free ride out of here is because their names were all over the media, I would say a lot of people would target the man's family that was responsible for killing thousands. Do you think we should just let them sit around and get shot. If we were to have kept them then we would have been "protecting the enemy" that is a lose, lose situtation. As far as the fighter planes are concerned, do you really think the government is willing to shot down a plane back then when they were not 100% sure of its intent. It is easy to say yes now, but back no way.

You don't even know for who or what you are risking your life for... there is no honor in that. Freedom? That is a joke. Just like Osama said: if he was interested in attacking freedom he would have attacked Sweden.

The freedom to express your opinion as in your constant attacks that you base on theory and conjecture.Try that one in say Iran or maybe prewar Iraq,I dont think you would enjoy the results.
The freedom to practice the religion of your choice, not one that is chosen for you.
These are a couple of the freedoms that that our Armed Forces fight for.I was in the military,so were two of my brothers and my father.I thank God for them and all others who have stood in harms way in uniform service of this country.
The one thing alot of people like hevusa dont understand is that love of country is a beacon for those who join the military.AIt may sound trite but there is no greater sacrafice than giving up your life defending your family or your country.People like hevusa dont understand that and will probably make fun of this post but I dont really care.

If you would care to learn the true basis under which our country was founded you would understand how I feel. People that join the military with a sense of honor in this country are being fooled and it makes me angry.

You invite me to learn from your "wealth" of knowledge and you cant take the time to give examples, you give an address for a book that is probably pure conjecture.Give me facts to support your arguments or crawl back in your hole.

I guess you don't read too well. Learning disability? Buy and read the book.

I can read just fine, thank you very much.I read things that I am interested in,not a book that is largely conjecture as it says in the link you provided.
"In this riveting and careful study, Baigent and Leigh (coauthors of The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail ) suggest that Freemasonic lodges served America's Founding Fathers as a working model for our federal system. Freemasonry's doctrine of universal brotherhood and tolerance, they assert, had a liberalizing influence in England and France, in particular on Voltaire, Hume, Rousseau, Montesquieu as well as their disciples in what was to become the United States. Early, largely conjectural chapters link Freemasonry to remnants of the Knights Templar, a medieval society of European warrior-monks, some of whose members appear to have found refuge in Scotland.
No learning disabilities in my family other than the fact I try to tune out people who continually bash the US when they enjoy the oppurtunities it offers.
