Just a small attempt at humor in an otherwise very contentious forum.

If you heat something like steel,it will bend easier than if it was not heated. That along with the pressure from all the weight above it will make it bend alot easier and quicker.

But that still doesn't explain how the fire reached 1500F (which it could not have).
ok, Aircraft are made from thin sheets of aluminum, buildings are made from steel. When aluminum metals then ignites it reaches temperatures far greater than that needed to melt steel. So when the aircraft (of aluminum) crashes into a building and blows up, the aluminum would melt and quite possibly ignite, therefore causing a great deal of heat, melting and/or severly weakening steel. I really don't know how to put it in simpler terms.

So the weakened metal up top collapes and the weight is too much for the building to handle? Is it as simple as that you think?

It isn't just the weight of the floors above, the initial impact of the above floors will impact with a magnitude of force in a small amount of time creating a cascade of failures floor by floor.

I agree. I think 9/11 was an inside job.
Once again you have surprised me with your ignorance and stupidity. I think I am Jesus and I piss holy water, but that doesn't mean that I am does it? Or does it? I am sure you will ponder this. Why do you think 9/11 was an inside job, did Micheal Moore tell you that. Just go ahead and admit to the world that you have no idea what you are talking about and save me the effort of proving that you don't.

Things that really bug me about 9/11:

1) The smaller WTC buildings coming down with demolitions within hours of the main towers falling
2) The fighter jets?? There was about 30 minutes between tower 1 being hit and tower 2 being hit. It should take what... 10? 7? minutes to scramble a few F-16's. That would leave at least 15 minutes of watching a plane heading for NYC AGAIN.
3) Lack of debris at the pentagon site
4) Lack of debris at site of impact in PA plane crash
--- help me Instant Runoff Voting, you're my only hope ---

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.
