I repeated twice her death was a tragedy. But again, what made her so special that she garners so much more attention in the news then any number of other tragedies? Why are people like her, Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie even in the news? What have they ever done to cause them to be newsworthy?

Accidentally or not, she caused her own death. She lived life in the fast lane, and it finally caught up with her.

I said I'm not going to point to specific comments made by specific posters. But even in this response Knot, you contridict your claims it's a 'tragic death' by making comments about her as a person.

It really doesn't matter if she lived in the fast lane. It also doesn't matter whether or not she deserved the fame she did have. It also didn't matter whether or not her breast were real or fake...

The woman is DEAD. Whatever she was in life, is over. Whatever she would have become if she'd lived is now unrealized. She'll never get the chance to correct mistakes, become better then the memory she's left behind, nor now have the chance to make a difference.

She lost everything important to her in life...Her husband and her son...Was trying to start over and start a good life for her daughter that has survived her...But now she'll never have the chance to show the world there was more to her then just her looks and celebrity status...

Even now in her death, she's still being fought over like a bone and being torn down from people that know nothing more about her then what the media has said. And she's still being condemned for being 'blonde and big boobed'? Oh, and let's not forget, 'undeserving of her celebrity status' on top of it.

There's alot of people out there undeserving of alot of things. Celebrity or not...But I personally don't feel the need to tear them down once they are dead to feel fortunate about my own circumstances in life.

Ever stopped to think why female breasts hold such a powerful allure over men? After all they are just mounds of flesh with a nipple on the end!

Is it something to do with returning to childhood, the security of breast-feeding? Or is it just the "forbidden fruit" syndrome?

It doesn't really make much sense.

Women have used this "power" to manipulate men from time immemorial.

But how can women who use their breasts as a means of manipulating men, be surprised when men treat them as sex objects?

When you specifically thrust yourself in front of the public eye like she did, she can only be expected to be critiqued the way she is being critiqued now and will be for years to come. I don't agree with the way prescription drugs are being handed out like candy, but that seems to be the popular thing now in the world. It's a shame that you can just go to the doctor and tell them what is wrong with you and what you need to be prescribed and the Dr.s give it out.
But, there is something more to this whole story of her life. Maybe, just maybe, someone with step up to the plate and start outing some of these "Hollywood Dr's" that just hand these pills out to those who "demand" them.

It is a shame that her life and her sons life ended so soon. I am sorry if you feel offended by some of the things being said here, but everyone has an opinion, whether you agree with it or not, it's theirs and they can speak it.

In the field I work in, you have to cut up and joke about things, or you will go insane.

How long ago did other celebrities die, and we still to this day talk about them and say things about them. It's life, and life happens.

If Anna's story, helps one person figure out, that prescription pills are not the way to deal with things, then her life was not a waste.
