>>In the field I work in, you have to cut up and joke about things, or you will go insane<<

That's surprising to hear since you seem to fly off the handle over a little sarcasm.

It doesn't really make much sense.

Women have used this "power" to manipulate men from time immemorial.

But how can women who use their breasts as a means of manipulating men, be surprised when men treat them as sex objects?
Do you know of anybody working at a job where women can try to manipulate men?

I had that happened to me twice while the Padres' games. The first time that happened, a well-known local TV personality wanted access to the area that is off limits to people without the proper credentials.

I told her and her boyfriend that. To which the woman said (showing me her youknowwhats): "Honey!! These are my credentials!"

I didn't laugh. I just merely frowned, stood still, and quietly said I could not grant them access. And they both left. Just doing my job, 'tis all.

Since then, I've been teased about that many times. All in good nature.

It really doesn't matter if she lived in the fast lane. It also doesn't matter whether or not she deserved the fame she did have. It also didn't matter whether or not her breast were real or fake...

The woman is DEAD. Whatever she was in life, is over. Whatever she would have become if she'd lived is now unrealized. She'll never get the chance to correct mistakes, become better then the memory she's left behind, nor now have the chance to make a difference.

She lost everything important to her in life...Her husband and her son...Was trying to start over and start a good life for her daughter that has survived her...But now she'll never have the chance to show the world there was more to her then just her looks and celebrity status...

Even now in her death, she's still being fought over like a bone and being torn down from people that know nothing more about her then what the media has said. And she's still being condemned for being 'blonde and big boobed'? Oh, and let's not forget, 'undeserving of her celebrity status' on top of it.

There's alot of people out there undeserving of alot of things. Celebrity or not...But I personally don't feel the need to tear them down once they are dead to feel fortunate about my own circumstances in life.
I don't understand why people should be held in a higher light when they're dead than when they were alive. It seems pretty backwards to me. First of all, if you're going to tear someone down when they're alive then you should also be willing to tear them down when they're dead. Second of all, why do people receive respect when they least need it? When they're dead? If you're going to give someone a hand of courtesy, at least have the decency to give it to them when they actually can receive it.

That being said I don't think her being dead changes anything with my viewpoint on her. Sure, when people have died you should reflect on their lives, but it doesn't always have to automatically be positive. To me it seems her life was a life wasted. I don't have remorse for saying that. Why should I? Because she's dead? If any sympathy I show for people like Anna Nichole Smith is that I feel sorry for them for falling into a life of superficial stupidity. Though it's hard to talk good about someone when they also seemed to have brought children into this mess...hopefully her children don't turn out like her.
