So Ms. Smith had nine drugs in her system? She should have been hospitalized, unless she refused to go. When she was suffering with, among other illnesses, influenza, she should have been hospitalized. Probably it may have been too late to save her with all those drugs in her system.

Personally, I think we are giving too much press to a woman who had absolutely no reason to be famous.

She had no acting talent, and if not for a talented plastic surgeon, her looks wouldn't be that remarkable, either.

Dying young is a terrible tragedy, but thousands of people do it every day.

I think there are much more newsworthy stories out there other then the accidental death of a spoiled, self-centered woman.

I take six meds in the morning and six at night (though one is the same as the morning). If my allergies are acting up, I take two more at night.

I don't think it's how many, but what kind.

If what Kristy Lee said this morning was true, they were mostly anti-anxiety and anti-depressants, with choryl hydrate thrown in. Choryl hydrate isn't used much anymore (according to the news report on the radio on my way to work).

As a side note, cloryl hydrate was what killed Marilyn Monroe.

Are you sure they're all absolutely necessary?

Americans seem to have a penchant for taking medication, fuelled by avaricious drug companies, appeasing doctors and a culture that promotes aversion of hardship at any cost.

This is the only country that has drug ads featuring women who brag about how they take "this pill for headache, that pill for stomach ache, the other pill for some other ache."

Why don't doctors address causes instead of symptoms??
