Do you really think that the President of the FEDERAL government had any push or pull in this issue?
The federal attorney general?

It was a STATE matter, dealt with at the STATE level.
And guess where Aschroft sat in all of that...
A couple quotes - from the article - for your doltish little hateful mind.

Quote:
"He did everything he could to prosecute my son." His mother, Beverly, adds, "I think the facts are clear that his uncle as governor certainly did not bail Alex out."

There's no evidence Ashcroft intervened on behalf of his nephew

You people are just really, really stupid. Open your eyes. Open your minds. Stop being such sissy little cry-babies and read.

No, YOU would not have understood. All you seem to understand is cutesy little photoshopped pictures.

Read the article...

And once again Jefferson back-peddles desparately from pointing the finger at a president and attorney general who OBVIOUSLY had nothing to do with this case....

Now, if you could actually trouble yourself to figure out if I ACTUALLY said Ashcroft intervened, that would be another huge feat on your part.

Or, you could continue with your foolish nature and argue against things I never said.

All I was doing was pointing out the stupidity of YOUR comment Jefferson...

But regardless, the question remains that if this nephew was prosecuted to the fullest extent, then how come he wasn't prosecuted to the fullest extent?

My original comment was a "pointing out the obvious" concerning the "he got off because of his uncle" crap.

But you're too deep in crap to see it or smell it.

EVEN THE KID'S MOM SAID THAT HIS UNCLE TRIED HIS BEST TO PROSECUTE HIM TO THE FULLEST. Get it?

Give it up.

Hmmm...
Your original comment made no mention of the uncle and his position of power in a state prosecution of a state drug charge...

Instead, you started asking pointless questions about how the president was...

Were you implying that the president had something to do with a STATE drug charge receiving limited prosecution?

Are you implying that it makes as much sense for the president to be involved in a state drug charge, as it does for the defendant's UNCLE, who also happens to be the governor of the state in question, to be involved?

Or are you just now changing your story because by some miracle, you've actually realized how ridiculous your earlier reply was?

Yeah. Because the "my brother saw fit to ensure that my nephew was treated with kid gloves" just doesn't sound like a bright thing to brag about...
<end sarcasm>

Do you think she would be boasting about it if he did get his nephew a reduced sentence?

And does it REALLY make any sense to you that the GOVERNOR is wanting to put pressure on the prosecution of a case, that is to try and get the "FULLEST" extent accomplished, but then the "FULLEST" isn't accomplished?

You should go back to trying to point fingers at the president. THAT made more sense...

So you and your sissy liberal girls are trying to prove some "family connection" that got an Ashcroft out of serving his time in a drug bust.

In the article cited, it says THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF ANY KIND OF FAVORTISM.

What do you NOT understand about that, you ignoramus?
