Marijuana does not.
I know...

Furthermore, the tobacco companies would lose huge amounts of money, why smoke that crap when you can have weed? What is sad is that they could probably make huge amounts of money by producing the weed themselves, and they would be ideal candidates. It can't be that much different than tobacco to raise. But they are so short sighted...

You could grow your own tobacco if you wanted, right?

I'm not being a smart alec. I think this is correct.

That being said, I wonder why more people don't grow & use their own tobacco.

Okay.

By the way, my family used to live on an acreage, and we did raise lots of our own food.

Alas, neither tobacco nor pot were part of our crops.

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

On the con side, marijuana users can be prone to lethargy, confusion, depression, and paranoia... that said, aside from putting countless DEA agents on the public dole, only good can come from regulating and taxing the procuction and sale of safe, legal marijuana.

Certainly less harmful IMO than alcohol and probably tobacco too..

Using marijuana makes users calm, happy, and peaceful (and susceptible to bad jokes). You won't rob someone for your next toke, you won't lose your mind and become violent, you won't run over little girls on bikes, you won't shoot your friend by mistake, and you won't end up on your friend's couch for the rest of your life (unless you let yourself).

All that aside… economic experts agree that ending the prohibition of marijuana would generate about 14 billion a year in revenue gained from taxing and money saved in our legal system.
