I do agree that marijuana can be addicting for some people.. I understand that in itself it's not addicting, but those who are mentally unstable can become addicted. There are many people that throw away their money meant for bills and food and other things just for a sack.

I used to smoke and I didn't think it was harming me at all.. Now that I've quit, I realized just how much I was throwing away.. sure it felt great to forget everything for a while a just relax, but I was doing it to escape from my problems, and they eventually caught up with me anyway.. I was allowing myself to do thing I wouldn't normally do and I hate who I was then...

I didn't realize just how bad it was for me until I stopped. A lot of people think it's ok but in reality it just harms people and those that care about them. If I didn't think it would be abused for medical purposes then I might approve of that use.. however, I have no doubt people will abuse it... and if we do legalize weed, what's next? Cocaine? Heroine? The list goes on and eventually we'll just give into everything and really run society into the ground.
