weed is a natural herb the only reason it became an illegal drug is because of the additives "THC". drug administration found that it aids in pain management, if people want to smoke it to get high "so be it" but it's also used for other things one of the main being cancer patients. people will get and use it reguardless if it doesn't become legalized so why not legalize it people could be doing alot worse!

The only people that are for weed being legal are the ones who smoke it. Weed is a illegal drug for a reason and should stay so... The only legalization for it should be through Medical terms, if it can save lives why ban it?

What reason is that? How many people have overdosed on weed? How many people have died as a result of smoking weed? Does it make people go crazy and smash windows and kill kittens?

Weed is illegal because people are afraid of it; marijuana prohibitionists are living with an out-dated and irrational fear that smoking herb is somehow harmful for the individual and for society. Personally, I'd rather be around stoners than a bunch of tight-asses.

Marijuana is not addictive, it doesn't cause brain damage, and you can't overdose on it. What I don't get is why alcohol and cigarrettes are still legal when both are worse for whoever uses them.

You know, in some parts of the South, dancing is condemned. Apparently, people start getting out of control and -- GOD FORBID -- they smile!

We prooved prohibition does not work when we tried to prohibit Alcohol. I think it's funny that the anti-weed people are all too often the first to hit the bars at the end of the day. The only difference is that weed can't kill you.

For the record, I am pro-legalization, and I do not smoke it (I am in the Military) and I never have.

i don't smoke the stuff i have a life! i've been working in the health care industry for 6 years and i say if it helps people then go for it. does anybody read magazines or newspapers or watch the news? you can't "OD" on weed, i've never heard of anyone dying from smoking to much pot. pepole die from other drugs or car accidents. if someone can find me an article that states that then i'll shut up about it!

Agreed. I have a friend that smokes weed like there is no tomorrow. If he were smoking cigarrettes like this he'd have emphasema. If you could OD on weed, he would have long ago.
