That's why I grow my own. I know exactly what I'm getting and it is just for my personal use.

Well Alias, that is a very prudent way to break the law.

If I ever change my mind and want to get stoned, I will have to get in touch with you, for the quality assurance.

You will have to visit me and sit and chat a while to get some. We can have a Kokanee and a toke and listen to Neko Case.

Good point. I also wonder about over the counter medicines like no-doze and vivarin, and even highly caffeinated beverages like energy drinks, which cause socially tolerated addiction and dependency on stimulants, as other possible gateway drugs introducing young people to speed.

Just a guess here...

I am gonna guess that most, but not all stoners started with tobacco.

(Damn that's a lot of fonts). Maybe, but I know from my partying years that alcohol was way more accessible and cheaper than pot and not everyone I hung out with smoked cigarettes.

I've smoked pot off an on since 1967. I work every day and have a few beers and a shot of Scotch whisky once in a while. No problem. I think it depends on the person.

Nope, can't think of a good thing about it, but I have known people to get killed or seriously injured because of mental impairment while on the drug.

Legalize it? I think not.

I-child,

the link you provide could be offset by any number of other links stating contrary information.

Whereas I think pot should be legalized, my reason is because I believe it carries certain dangers that are higher while it is illegal. There is no quality control, no regulations.

If there was competition then it would be produced with certain standards in mind, certain potency caps and without unknown additives.

And I do not believe you can accurately say no deaths were caused by pot, per the link. If someone had cardiac arrest or did something under the hazy influence of a joint, how would those statistics even be discovered?

Is there any kind of stonimeter like there is an intoximeter for motorists who are in accidents?

Subjective data, whose?
