Actually I don't think they are preparing for it at all. They are amongst the biggest supporters of the War on Drugs. The point is that the impact would not be immediate but it would certainly be the death knell for big tabacco.

"What business is it of yours what I do, see, read, or take into my body so long as I do not harm another human being on this planet? And for those of you having a little moral dillema answering this question, I'll answer it for you. NONE of your fucking business." - Bill Hicks

Anyone who has some form of p2p (limewire, AresLite, etc.) should look for a spoken word called Grow More Pot by Jello Biafra. It gives a really awesome explanation as to why pot is illegal. I'm too lazy to give an abridged version.

Well I figured you knew who he was, question was more directed at the rest of the crowd here.....

His name is an ironic combination of a non-nutritionally valued corporate food product and mass starvation. Around a million people are thought to have died in the conflict, mostly through starvation and illness.

Oh, haha. Frankly, I think that Jello has a pretty, err... Sub-par voice. Though for some reason the songs are really catchy... Oh and Holiday in Cambodia is awesome.

Despite his confrontational nature and reputation among republicans, Jello Biafra is an incredibly intelligent guy. I suggest reading some Dead Kennedys lyrics as an alternate commentary on how the 70s & 80's really went. He actually ran for president in 2000, under the Green Party ticket. That's when a lot of people perked up their ears and realized he wasn't just trying to grab attention. He has some brilliant ideas, and a sharp wit.

Side note: Has anyone else seen the videos or heard the sound files of him commentating from one of the Republican National Conventions? Awesome.
