What a shitbag. You have to know he was a part of the insiders' club when you see him chilling there with Rumsfeld looking at the scene talking to the media (zoom to 07min.s, 01sec.s). Now he's using it all for his political gain. If I ever get to "shake his hand," I'd rather slit his throat. There's fighting terrorism for you!

I apologize for the angry response, but I'm speaking my mind and believe everyone should. I suppose that's just my true patriotism coming out.

Not for nothing ... but the video found a total of about 6 firefighters who don't like Rudy, because they had some defective radios (we certainly can't say based on that alone that this represents the views of all NYC firefighters). The radios were Motorola radios, which as far as I know are the standard for first responders (I think ... but could be wrong).

Was Rudy expected to be a expert in communications technology? I'm not exactly a huge Rudy fan; but this sounds like an unwarranted ad hom attack? No bid contract; that's another story. However, again the pictures I saw in the video's provided showed Motorola radios. Every single police, EMT, or firefighting organizations radios I've ever seen uses the same brand. I don't see the big deal. He was a great mayor for NYC (not saying that indicates he'll be a good president, but I'm just saying he was a great mayor by the standards of many people). I think politicians on both sides have been equally guilty of no-bid contracts. That is a valid issue to slam Rudy on, but not the way it was framed in the video (basically saying Rudy was responsible for the deaths of some firefighters on 9/11 .... that's just over the top)

I like how the video is only about 10 seconds long & fails to deliver any context to the listener. I would insist on seeing the entire interview before making rash judgments.
