For me, the hardest question was the one " 9. Whose political views do you consider more extreme, those of (former) Surgeon General Joycelyn Elders or the Rev. Pat Robertson?" They didn't have the option, "Both". | I happen to be a conservative, but some my liberal thinking got me messed up.
As for Elders and Robertson, I ixnayed both of them.

As for Elders and Robertson, I ixnayed both of them. | Well, considering both can be extreme in their politics, it just didn't seem fair to me that one had to choose between either one of them...And the "Neither" option made it appear as if by choosing it, then neither were extreme?
Elders is extreme in her liberal views...Robertson is extreme in his conservative views.
I took the test as it was worded and so choose Robertson. Even though I wasn't comfortable with choosing either one, his viewpoints based off of strictly religious views concerns me most considering how this country is being ran so far off of strictly religious viewpoint...
So for me, it came down to who was the bigger 'evil' of the two. As far out as Elder's views are, how our leaders are trying to run the goverment isn't even close to her particular views. |

Points: 12,146, Level: 72 | Level up: 73%, 304 Points needed | | It's a sad excuse for a political quiz to say the least. The questions were frequently subjective and circumstantial. The compass itself represented only a portion of the wider political paradigm (the quiz's compass essentially goes from centrist to far right wing, when we all know a political compass can go, left, up, and down, too).
As a result I scored "8", which is somewhere in between Hillary and Ted Kennedy...while in reality I really don't represent any of the same views that they hold. It's because the quiz is only in the context of a horrible representation of the left-right paradigm. In these confines true political representation isn't that great.

You would probably associate better with Dennis Kucinich or Mike Gravel when it comes to Presidential candidates.
In terms of left-right, Ron Paul is accurately depicted...but I would definitely put him more further south.
Me? I'm on a far off island. The closest thing to me is probably Ralph Nader in terms of Presidential candidates in the US. Even he's kind of far away. I'm probably closer to around Noam Chomsky's area...but I highly highly doubt he'll ever run for president!

I have no idea what that means LOL | It means, like many Americans, you don't fit the black and white description of a Democratic and Republican America.
