The same reason you post when everybody knows your stance. If everybody only posted once, what would be the point?

And I don't think his statement was ignorant. Even more so when he made it. Even if "casual contact" didn't spread AIDS, if the people that have the disease are likely to continue the "contact" that does, they should be locked up. And today, there are laws in place that do just that.

The fact of the matter is fear and mass hysteria was the root of the internments. You still dont get it. The medical community knew in 1986 HIV/AIDS was not tranmitted through casual contact and Huckabee made the quarantine comment in 1992.. Why dont you address Huckabees ignorance instead of justifying quarantining of AIDS/HIV patients?
Instead of all this discussion, why don't we address what's really important here: "Huckabee" is a stupid sounding name and it would be a great embarassment to the United States if he were elected president. What else is there to discuss?

What I see, and, what everybody else should see, is that "Huckabee" is too stupid sounding of a name for the leader of our country. Case closed. Even if he had the power to stop all wars, end all of human suffering, and turn the world into a perfect utopia, he should still not be allowed to rise to leadership because his name is too stupid sounding. Why can't anybody realize this important fact?

I don't think we have to worry about Huckabee. But if the name Huckabee sounds too stupid, then I wonder about last names of other presidents we had. Even the Russians wondered how the name "Carter" would ever stick into the historical aspects of presidential last names.

Carter doesn't count, he was a shitty president. He did much better out of office though - painting homes for poor crack mothers. Hey, it's good somebody does that (I guess).

Carter has done more in his present ministry he now has than he ever did as president, yes. I met him in April 2004 at Petco Park, where the Padres invited him to throw out the first pitch on the night that our ballpark officially opened. His Habitat for Humanity is an excellent ministry.

It's too bad that most of the people who are supposed to benefit from Habitat for Humanity are uncaring drains of society looking for their next handout.
