Does anybody remember Huckabee saying this in 1992?
I do.
And, he still feels he was justified in making such an ignorant comment. |

The story says "AIDS patients" not "gay people", so "bashing gays" is your own correlation. His quote... "It is difficult to understand the public policy towards AIDS. It is the first time in the history of civilization in which the carriers of a genuine plague have not been isolated from the general population, and in which this deadly disease for which there is no cure is being treated as a civil rights issue instead of the true health crisis it represents." He didn't say lock up homosexuals, he said lock up the people with AIDS who at that time WERE contagious and nearly 100% gonna die.
I'm glad I'm not gay, because if some of the members of this forum are any indication of what it does to your brain, life must be a horrific place. Irrational, delusional, and paranoid...it's scary.

Tristan, you need to turn in your supergay cape and let someone wage the war that needs to yet be fought on behalf of the gay community. You are showing your true colors. OhDear

As if there was enough problems with the gay population, I think some of you know that the Diocese of San Joaquin (California) ceded from the US Episcopal Church.
I was made aware of this on Saturday, and it was posted in the San Diego Union-Tribune yesterday. This article comes from the S.F. Chronicle.
I don't know if a few other dioceses across the USA will follow the San Joaquin Diocese.

OhDear | It's only a "gay" disease when it's in Tristan's own personal interests to say so. Otherwise, less than 5% of gay men have AIDs. |
