Now who is the racist here Jaaman? OMG, his name! Yikes!!! His name!!!! He must be a Muslim. (so what if he is?) And if a Muslim, a terrorist!!! That's it isn't it? Oh no, he has a loyalty to Africa!!! Whatever happened to you in Sunday School? Didn't you hear that God loved the world? Why should you not want to support a presidential candidate that may well do the same? ![]() OhDear

Hate to tell you this hon...But they do have white members in their church...In fact one of their regulars, who's also an ordained Trinity pastor and female? Her and her family drive several miles to attend the services there...AND she talks about the church's mixed racial membership in 2 of the 3 videos on the 'about us' page... Yes, their church promotes African American racial pride...But they do not promote segration/division. And yes, one of their ministers have spoken kindly about Farahkan...But his own personal likes/dislikes doesn't speak for/represent Obama's feeligns on itty bit. And Obama isn't responsible for the name his parents gave him, anymore then he's responsible for their having created him in the first place... Also, Obama didn't have a 'Muslim upbringing'. He actually had a non-religious upbringing. His father was athiest, his step-father agnostic, and his mother spiritual but not fond of any organized religion. Yes, for a short period of his childhood, he lived in a Muslim country...Only for 6 years of his childhood though. The majority of his childhood years spent here in the US with his mother and grandparents instead. While living in Indonesia he attended public schools, as well as a Catholic private school during his early school age. So trying to say that somehow makes him 'Muslim'? You'd have a better chance saying he was Catholic instead...It would be more credible. I've went through their whole site, from top to bottom...And the claims yourself and one other person who posted the same falsehoods just didn't stand up to the hate-mongering and exaggerations you two tried to put forth about the church or Obama... Sorry darling...But if you want to dissuade people from voting for Obama? Try using more honest arguments instead of trying to fuel people's fears instead of their minds and rational thinking capabilities. | In 1991, when Obama joined the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, he pledged allegiance to something called the Black Value System, which is a code of non-Biblical ethics written by blacks, for blacks. It encourages blacks to group together and separate from the larger American society by pooling their money, patronizing black-only businesses and backing black leaders. Such racial separatism is strangely at odds with the media's portrayal of Obama as a uniter who reaches across races. The code also warns blacks to avoid the white "entrapment of black middle-classness," suggesting that settling for that kind of "competitive" success will rob blacks of their African identity and keep them "captive" to white culture. In short, Obama's "unashamedly black" church preaches the politics of black nationalism. And its dashiki-wearing preacher -- who married Obama and his wife and now acts as his personal spiritual adviser -- is militantly Afrocentric. "We are an African people," the Rev. Jeremiah Wright reminds his flock, "and remain true to our native land, the mother continent." If a President Obama's foreign and domestic policies are anything like the Afrocentric doctrine he's pledged to uphold, Americans will pay a hefty price, including those among the growing black middle class. Obama's Church: Financial News - Yahoo! Finance "I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes." Romans 1:16

ROTFLMAOL!!! I already read that today, and here's the link to what exactly the 'Black Value System' says... Trinity United Church of Christ Quote:
When reading the FULL content of those 12 value statements, I just don't see anything racist or 'anti-Isreal', 'anti-Jew', or 'pro-Arab'...But a simple statement of the grassroots movement of civil rights that many blacks feel are still happening in America. But they're showing a plan/concept to overcome that era, through work and change within their own race for themselves. Racial pride, but not racism. Also, because of Obama not sharing the same views as his pastor, they have both mutually agreed that it's not in Obama's best intrests for his pastor to support his running for President...Quite the opposite in fact, to what you've tried now to claim twice.. To save time and not re-post what I've already replied to you with on that subject, I'll re-direct you to my original response to you...This time though, do us both a favor and actually read both links provided in that response? Pay extra attention to the Snopes link which does away with your urban legend. And stop with the fear mongering...It really makes you look desperate rather then informed. http://www.defendingthetruth.com/ele...tml#post160279 (The Obama Thread) Notice the 'About Us' link? Read it completely this time. And pay special attention to that Snopes link as well. Because it addresses the arguments you are trying to use and that have been proven exaggeration and misleading.
