Seriously though...If this were a church that said they were..."We are a congregation which is Unashamedly WHITE and Unapologetically Christian", the media would eat that person alive. Especially if his name were Huckabee. Not that Obama is a racist, but that statement, if it were "white" based, would be devisive no doubt.

You can't deny it is being given a pass because Obama is Black.

Or is it being given a pass right now until the real candidates are chosen?

Either we are having Christians afraid that there is some covert Muslim terrorist with an agenda to better the continent of Africa even to the compensation of the good of this nation or we have people who believe that the "real" candidates are not the ones out there for all to see.

Why can't we just be happy for a man like Obama to be in the race at all? I know all those black anti-American Muslims in the Kennedy clan are happy about it.

Maybe it has to do something with that whole slavery thing.

Last time a group of whites say something like that, they're usually on their way to burn some crosses or lynch someone. Groups that are black that say something like that, are usually focused on defending themselves from lynches, and organizing around the idea of MLK's dream of an equal society.

I realize it's a catch 22...But the thing is, and I hate to say this but like Kat just said, when it's a white saying such a thing, you can pretty much guarentee they are saying it while acting in a racist manner.

Not all the time, but the majority of the time. You really don't see alot of whites going on about 'white racial pride' unless they're standing on court steps, surrounded by swasika flags while the police are holding a line to keep anti-hate protestors back...

The simple fact is, in their 12 point article, they make it very clear that they do no support anti-racism, that their sole reason is to encourage African Americans to take responsibility of how their families, communities, and culture proceed into the future with pride, determination, and active passivism. To better themselves, despite society perceptions/pre-judgement.

It's not a bad thing at all...And it isn't anywhere close to what Jaa was trying to paint it as, or those that gave him that idea were painting it as.
