Still tyrying, Jaaman? You're entitled to your opinion; but please establish your opinions from proven facts. This "Obama is a Muslim (and thence a terrorist)" argument is lame. The continued "Hussein" implication is no better. You should concentrate your thoughts more on the economic problems concerning the country today; because those are facts. And those facts are real problems.

And people wonder why Al Gore didn't want to make global warming a political debate. Too often politics makes undeniable facts suddenly debatable.

C) The Vice President isn't running (does anyone really think he would win if he WAS running??)

D) Competing over who is the most like Ronald Reagan means nothing to 40% of American voters who weren't old enough to vote when he was elected

E) All of the above

I'm going with E. Personally i've enjoyed how the polls didn't give McCain an icebergs chance in hell and the media kept beating up the story...yet here he is the nominee in waiting. The media has no idea whats going on..they seem to be more out of touch then President Shrub

And for the life of me, I don't see where this global warming talk is going. Today is supposed to be officially the first day of Spring. San Diego had probably one of the coolest or coldest winters, by their standards, in years. I can't count the number of times that I had to dress warm when going to work via public transportation this past winter. Oh well, as they say.

And it was probably the warmest here in Columbus, Ohio. We had record breaking temperatures a few times like in the 70's even toward the end of January. That just doesn't happen this far north.

Oh really? Must have been the El Nina or La Nino thing. We had a lot of days when morning temps were either in the high 30's or low 40's, and I only live four miles from the ocean.

BTW, I understand that Ohio had some rough weather with flooding. I hope you are safe.

It's not a idiotic accusation; it's just how it is.

It is they who have nothing to say on the issues so they appeal to pseudo-racist tendencies by labeling Barack Obama an anti-American Muslim. There's absolutely no substantiation behind those kinds of claims. The irrational associations and assumptions are closely related to the mind set of a racist. There's just no other way of putting it.

Well I'm quite fine; it usually stays pretty dry in the urban areas. But I didn't have to go that far north to see some corn fields turned into ponds.

Melt of 20 inches of snow plus rain will do it.

Jaaaman, putting aside the silly innuendo and half-truths, and concentrating solely on the facts you posted regarding Obama's record, positions, etc., this is actually a pretty handy list of reasons why I and so many other Americans support him.

All you have done here is made yourself look silly, and showcased why people should support him.
