I watched a little bit of RAW, but I turned it on just after 9PM. And I turned it off at 9:30 PM as I went to get some shut-eye. Oh well. I imagine there may be a match between McCain and Obama in late October or on the day before the general election in November.

There you go talking out your ass. It was all in clean fun, the Candidates all addressed the fans of the WWE before Hilary and Barack stepped into the ring.

WWE: Mediaplayer > Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John McCain address the WWE fans

Seems like a pretty good way of getting some face time with a demographic that wouldn't normally get it. A captive audience at that.

Oh and thanks for calling me a youth.......

I watched that clip, which was preceded by a trailer for Jenna Jameson's latest epic "Zombie Strippers".

Call me old-fashioned but I think it belittles the candidates and the gravity of the electoral process by stooping down to this level, instead of inspiring WWE fans to raise their sights.

It's all part of the general American malaise which is increasingly unable to distinguish between fantasy and reality, accompanied by an ever-shrinking attention span which demands that everything be "entertaining"!

What this does is appeal to the majority of Americans who aren't particulary sophisticated, intelligent, and are only capable of thinking in one dimension. The influx of immigrants who enjoy things like cock fighting aren't helping the situation either. Have you ever wondered why NASCAR and reality shows are so popular in America? Such a pity we are turning into a nation of marching morons.

Maybe it's because most US Americans don't have maps, and we're not educating the South Africa and the Iraq and everywhere like such as.
