Get rid of Diebold voting machines and make sure there is a paper trail. Implement Instant Runoff Voting. That is about it. Nothing too radical is required. --- help me Instant Runoff Voting, you're my only hope --- There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. | Ann Coulter - Trying to Beat an Election Fraud Rap This is one of those articles where the ironies could be listed for about eight hundred pages. Ann Coulter, who says in almost every article how she believes in the absolutes of law and order and how criminals should receive maximum penalties with total disregard to circumstance, is accused of Felony Vote Fraud. “A poll worker reported to his supervisors that he saw Coulter try to vote in the precinct closest to her Palm Beach home. But when she was told the address on her voter's registration was elsewhere, Coulter ran out instead of correcting it and ended up voting in a precinct that wasn't hers. Knowingly voting in the wrong precinct in Florida is a felony. Elections Supervisor Arthur Anderson gave Coulter until April 30 to explain what happened, but she has yet to answer his registered letters. Now with Jimenez, Kelly said, officials will wait "a few more weeks" before starting a procedure that could strip Coulter of her right to vote here and refer the case to State Attorney Barry Krischer for possible prosecution.” Coulter is now in the unenviable position of being hoisted with her own petard. All conservative elected officials and conservative commentators seem to fall into that trap ‘big time’ at least once in their lives. Who can forget Morton Downey Jr.’s vicious television show where he denounced ‘Pabulum Puking Liberals’ for many supposed shortcomings including fighting for anti-smoking warnings and legislation? I guess because I am a ‘bleeding heart’ that I really felt sorry for Mort when later in life he was stricken with lung cancer and did an abrupt 180 degree turn in his political beliefs saying how mistaken he was to promote smoking rights among other positions. More recently we have Jeb Bush, George W. Bush and Rush Limbaugh who have all taken stridently anti-drug positions. Jeb and George enacted harsh drug penalties in Florida and Texas respectively, only to find out that Jeb’s daughter, George W. and Limbaugh have all abused drugs and broken drug laws. George W and Limbaugh avoided serving any jail time, while Jeb’s daughter had to do time in jail and rehab. I guess someone on the right had to pay the price they advocate. Of the three, why not punish the little girl the hardest? Of course, we also have Bill ‘Ho’ Reilly who after relentlessly pillorying Bill Clinton for his sexual transgressions with an underling it was discovered O’Reilly viciously harassed (one could say stalked) one of his staffers with lewd phone calls and unwelcome discussions about proper use of sexual props. That case was of course quickly settled out of court for an undisclosed (Read: BIG) sum. What else, Cheney’s daughter being gay when the Bush administration is so stridently anti-gay? Oh, how horrific of me to have brought that up, I’m so sorry Mary, will you forgive me? Or how about Segregationist Strom Thurmond fathering a daughter with an African American woman? http://www.opednews.com/articles/ope...r___trying.htm Live the Light, Give the Light, Bring Heaven to Earth Every Day! | WHAT A FUCKIN BITCH (VIDEO included) Coulter continued attacks on liberals, families of 9-11 victims: "[D]o I have to kill my mother so I can be a victim, too?" Summary: While promoting her new book on Hannity & Colmes and The Situation with Tucker Carlson, right-wing pundit Ann Coulter continued to bash both liberals and family members of victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Coulter asserted that Jesus would say that "we are called upon to do battle" on liberalism. In criticizing family members of 9-11 victims, Coulter asked: "[D]o I have to kill my mother so I can be a victim, too?" http://mediamatters.org/items/200606080002 Live the Light, Give the Light, Bring Heaven to Earth Every Day! | Court Martial: Ann Coulter "I think there should be a literacy test and a poll tax for people to vote." - Ann Coulter, Hannity & Colmes, 8/17/99. Alternate sourcing dates this quote to 1997. If Coulter's "literacy test" included a section on filling out address forms and noting the legalese there, it is beginning to look like Coulter would be a candidate to fail. Brad Friedman at BradBlog.com has been putting the screws to Ann Coulter and he has been diligent in documenting a possible trail of deception on Coulter's part. Ann Coulter is still making money off her stuff, though, so somebody likes it. Felony didn't hurt Martha Stewart, either, so don't look for Ann Coulter to be knocked off her perch by any of what I'm preparing to tell you. Brad Friedman has demonstrated, with documentation, that Ann Coulter may have committed voter fraud in the State of Florida. This is a crime, a 3rd degree felony. It may have been because Coulter didn't feel the need to read the legalese — usually automatic for a trained lawyer, I'd think, or anyone reasonably literate. http://blogcritics.org/archives/2006/06/15/053223.php Live the Light, Give the Light, Bring Heaven to Earth Every Day! At one stage of the game, you'll proclaim she's telling the "truth". Another stage? You'll regard it as just an opinion. Yet another? There is a "grain" of truth to what she says... And the main difference is that you'll expound the factual nature of her statements, until somebody challenges you or shows how she's talking out her arse, and then you start back-pedalling onto one of the weaker positions...
