Yet another? There is a "grain" of truth to what she says...

And the main difference is that you'll expound the factual nature of her statements, until somebody challenges you or shows how she's talking out her arse, and then you start back-pedalling onto one of the weaker positions...
You are really funny. Everything you say is what I have said. There is no backpeddling. The only thing peddling backwards around here is your mind. She does tell the truth. She does tell her opinion. She does have a grain of truth in what she says. I stand by all those statements. One does not cancel out the other. You're so critically minded, that you'll strain at a gnat and swallow a watermelon.

The dems are using these 4 widows. You can't answer them because it wouldn't be politically correct to do so, them being 09/11 widows and all. So Ann does answer them and you castigate her for it. You castigate the right for doing the same damn thing during the election and then you squeal when you get caught doing it. Is that all you liberals know how to do is whine, whine, and more whine?

All you do is use victims of this war for your political purposes. Why don't you use the widows who are behind the war? You're no better than those you complained about last election when the right used veterans who knew John Kerry and you all whined about that. Whiine, whine, whine. No one is going to vote for a whiner except another whiner like you.

Rrrriiiggghhhhttttt....
All those statements of yours are completely consistent.....
What are you smoking and why aren't you sharing?

1) Something that is the truth is the truth. Not an opinion. Not just partially, like in the form of a "grain", the truth.
2) Something that is an opinion is not "the truth". It may be a fact that a person has a certain opinion, but the opinion itself is not "truth".
3) Something that is described as having "a grain of truth" is mostly a lie.
Like a gross exaggeration.

You've been challenged by Dylan to show the "truth" in her statements, when Dylan has clearly disproven her claims.
You backed down...

That's a load of crap.
You CAN answer them.
INSULTING them with PERSONAL ATTACKS is the reason Coulter is just plain a byatch...

What the hell are you talking about?
Where did I "castigate the right for doing the same damn thing"?

Now THAT is just plain hilarious, considering the source of that statement...

Are you arguing with somebody else now?
Or does your memory problem prevent you from remembering what I have or haven't done.
1) Where have I used victims of this war for my political purpose?
2) I'm not personally attacking the widows who are behind the war.
Ergo, I am significantly different from the Coulter scum.

You're off in la-la land right now...

Good answer for when you have none. I'm still waiting for someone to produce something Ann Coulter said that is a lie. Still waiting.............

The liberal's rant the last few weeks has done nothing but sell tons of books. They shoot themselves in the foot again.

Man. You just love to close your eyes, stick your fingers in your ears, and insist that you don't see what has already been shown.

Go back and address the posts that Dylan made on the subject.
You claim that you haven't seen something that you cowardly avoided...

"Anorexics never have boyfriends. ... That's one way to know you don't have anorexia, if you have a boyfriend."---Politically Incorrect 7/21/97

"Liberals become indignant when you question their patriotism, but simultaneously work overtime to give terrorists a cushion for the next attack and laugh at dumb Americans who love their country and hate the enemy."

"The New York Times ran a Tom Tomorrow cartoon sneering about Americans who believe with 'unwavering faith in an invisible omniscient deity who favors those born in the middle of the North American land mass.' This is how liberals conceive of America: an undifferentiated land mass in the middle of North America."

The cartoon (http://dir.salon.com/story/comics/tomo/2002/07/01/tomo/index.html) was an attempt to deflate the relentlessly self-praising attitudes of some politicians and pundits, clearly failing in Coulter's case. It's just pointing out that it's a bit arrogant to see ourselves as being the center of the moral universe. The idea that God favors the United States over all other countries is a little bit bizarre (just as is the idea that He favors Saudi Arabia). Too many people believe fanatically that they have God on their side, this is what motivated those damn terrorists. The bitter irony may be lost on some people, like Coulter.

"COULTER: I take the biblical idea. God gave us the earth.

PETER FENN (Democratic strategist): Oh, OK.

COULTER: We have dominion over the plants, the animals, the trees.

FENN: This is a great idea.

COULTER: God says, "Earth is yours. Take it. Rape it. It's yours."

FENN: Terrific. We're Americans, so we should consume as much of the earth's resources...

COULTER: Yes! Yes.

FENN: ... as fast as we possibly can.

COULTER: As opposed to living like the Indians."
-Hannity and Colmes, 6/22/01

Coulter vs. The Bible

Genesis (Breisheit) Chapter 6

18: But I will establish my covenant with you; and you shall come into the ark, you, your sons, your wife, and your sons' wives with you.

19: And of every living thing of all flesh, you shall bring two of every sort into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female.

20: Of the birds according to their kinds, and of the animals according to their kinds, of every creeping thing of the ground according to its kind, two of every sort shall come in to you, to keep them alive.

""Cheney is my ideal man. Because he's solid. He's funny. He's very handsome. He was a football player. People don't think about him as the glamour type because he's a serious person, he wears glasses, he's lost his hair. But he's a very handsome man. And you cannot imagine him losing his temper, which I find extremely sexy. Men who get upset and lose their tempers and claim to be sensitive males: talk about girly boys. No, there's a reason hurricanes are named after women and homosexual men, it's one of our little methods of social control. We're supposed to fly off the handle."
Anyone that thinks Dick Cheney is sexy is certifiably insane.

"My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times Building."
But you know, the fact that he KILLED PRESCHOOLERS is totally fine. Right.

not preclude occasional missteps and errors, but in the end, they win the war. Democratic presidents are just the opposite. Battles are won, but somehow the Democrats always manage to wrest defeat from the jaws of victory."

She somehow has forgotten about World War II under Franklin Delano Roosevelt. She tries to explain away Nixon’s two term involvement in Vietnam, and the evacuation of Saigon and South Vietnam under President Gerald Ford. She ignores that the Pentagon Papers disclosed by Daniel Ellsberg revealed a continuous American policy of involvement in Vietnam spanning close to two decades.

"Barry Goldwater ran against Johnson in 1964, saying that ‘I would have said to North Vietnam, by dropping leaflets out of B-52's ‘You quit the war in three days or the next time these babies come over they’re going to drop big bombs on you. And I’d make a swamp out of North Vietnam . . . I’d rather kill a hell of a lot of North Vietnamese than one American and we’ve lost enough of them.’ Democrats explained that Goldwater was a right wing nut who’d get us all blown up . . . More likely, the North Vietnamese would have reacted the way Iranian hostage takers did when Reagan was elected, immediately releasing their American hostages the very same day of his inauguration."

She once again conveniently ignores seven years of subsequent fighting in Vietnam under Republican Presidents. And her homage conveniently omits reference to the consideration received by the Iranian hostage takers for their charity: money and weapons.

Coulter: "Canada used to be one of our most loyal friends and vice-versa. I mean Canada sent troops to Vietnam - was Vietnam less containable and more of a threat than Saddam Hussein?"

The following is an exerpt from a CBC interview.
"McKeown interrupts: "Canada didn't send troops to Vietnam."

Coulter: "I don't think that's right."

McKeown: "Canada did not send troops to Vietnam."

Coulter (looking desperate): "Indochina?"

McKeown: "Uh no. Canada ...second World War of course. Korea. Yes. Vietnam No."

Coulter: "I think you're wrong."

McKeown: "No, took a pass on Vietnam."

Coulter: "I think you're wrong."

McKeown: "No, Australia was there, not Canada."

Coulter: "I think Canada sent troops."

McKeown: "No."

Coulter: "Well. I'll get back to you on that."

McKeown tags out in script:

"Coulter never got back to us -- but for the record, like Iraq, Canada sent no troops to Vietnam.""

Of course, Coulter was dead wrong. In fact, Canada's attitude toward America's war in Vietnam was extremely critical under several governments of our neighbor to the north. For example, when Prime Minister Lester Pearson--who'd won a Nobel Peace Prize for his role in defusing the '50s Suez crisis-- gave an April 2, 1965 speech at Temple University calling for a pause in U.S. bombing of Vietnam, he was the subject of rather notorious treatment by Lyndon Johnson at their subsequent meeting: LBJ grabbed the much smaller Canadian by the lapels, lifted him off the floor, and hollered, "You pissed on my rug!"

Pearson's successor, Pierre Trudeau, signaled his attitude toward the war in Vietnam when he granted political asylum to tens of thousands of draft-age Americans who fled to Canada to avoid having to fight in Vietnam, saying: "'Those who make the conscientious judgment that they must not participate in this war ... have my complete sympathy, and indeed our political approach has been to give them access to Canada. Canada should be a refuge from militarism."

I could go on.
