Perhaps the problem is the simple fact that ours actually looks better and at times is much more believable. Michael Moore the poor boy from Detroit, oh that's right, he is actually from an upper class all white neighborhood in the suburbs and not actually Detroit.

Ann Coulter is outlandish and often makes wild claims in order to sell books, the same thing Moore does with his docudramas. Part of the reason that Coulter annoys so many is the simple fact that behind some of her most outlandish claims there is a morsel of truth. Case in point, the Jersey Girls, four widows who demanded the 9/11 commission, blame President Bush and Condeleeza Rice for not stopping the attacks, and campaign for John Kerry. She makes an accurate claim that the left embraces spokespersons who make it difficult to challenge. These four women are a prime example, if we challenge their views we are disparaged as being uncaring and unconcerned for these widows who lost their husbands. Their plight all began because they complained that the settlement from the government for the loss of their husbands was not enough.

Or what about Cindy Sheehan. We are to accept her in her grief for the loss of her son. The very son she gave up custody in a divorce, the very son who she has yet taken the time to request or purchase a headstone for his grave, the very son who reenlisted while in Iraq, as the ultimate spokesperson against the War in Iraq. She lost a son, to attack her is to attack her grief.

Of all the groups out there I find it amazing that there is not one single group of bereaved widows from the NY City fire department, 343 brave individuals lost their lives going into buildings everyone else was trying to get out. There were no complaints from the widows that their settlement was not enough, there are no groups that claim the US Foreign Policy is the cause for their husbands and sons deaths. They died doing their jobs, yet many of their settlements are far less than the settlements of the Jersey girls. Go figure.

If someone claimed that Michael Moore was unadulterated truth, I'd rip them a new one too. It's that Alias thinks that she's always correct, and posts her stupidity on this site that irritates me. I have yet to see anyone on this site post an article by Michael Moore. (Well, Intangible Child might have, but he's insane and unreliable, so I usually ignore him)

I fine Ann Coulter to be disgustingly rude in every concievable way, which I think is what probably annoys me most about her.

And how does that make you feel, deep inside your soul?

Ew. If I wanted to look like Ann Coulter, all I'd need is a bad case of anorexia, a blond wig, and a penis.

You have no idea what you're talking about. No less than half of the 20th century's presidents have been liberals. I didn't count Eisenhower because he was a Republican, but if you looked at his policies, he had a pretty liberal track record.

Barry Goldwater was an utter failure as a presidential candidate, but you don't here liberals going on about him, because he's old news. Ann Coulter is the queen of the ad hominem, but I suppose you don't know what that means either.

And for the record, I love Barry Goldwater. I would have voted for him.

I'm talking about liberal democrats. McGovern, Carter, Mondale, Dukakis. Once the American people found out who Jimmmah was, the canned him. The others got creamed. The ones you mentioned were not liberals. The party had not been infected yet like it is today.

I'm not into looks. I think she's hot because of her mind. I just want head.

Those ARE liberal Democrats. Roosevelt basically invented social security and welfare, Truman carried on his legacy, Lyndon B. Johnson helped end segregation, Kennedy founded the Peace Corps, and Clinton toyed with the idea of universal healthcare.

Franklin D. Roosevelt MADE the modern Democratic Party. He was one of the greatest presidents in American history.

He also MADE the Executive branch and the Presidency. The guy had the balls to propose to Congress to change the number of Justices on the Court so he could nominate candidate who would approve his social programs. If ANY president tried that today, they'd have thier balls cut off

So you're admitting that Ann Coulter is as bad on her side as Michael Moore is as bad on his side?

Is that what you're admitting?

Bush started the no child left behind act. Does that make him a liberal? Bush wants more money for college tuitions. That must make him a liberal. Lyndon B. Johnson signed the Civil Rights act. He could never have got it done without republicans. He was opposed by democrats more than republicans. I was there. I remember the great KKK former member, the great Robert Byrd who is still a democrat and still in office, filibustering the civil rights act. Roosevelt didn't invent anything. He was forced to propose social security because of a great depression and people starting to court the communist party. He was forced. Trumen killed 300,000 innocent civilians in 2 days. I didn't know liberals did that.
