Say WHAAAA???

What racism?
What lies?

ANN COULTER's lies have been pointed out on these message boards.

You're a broken record, only capable of meaningless phrases.
You can't handle people pointing out her lies.
You can't handle the truth, as you don't even comprehend what it is. You keep spouting the same b.s. without even bothering to realize that you made it all up...
I tell you what, let's re-enact the sedition act of WWI. How would you like that? I think it's a fine idea.

16 May, 1918
The U.S. Sedition Act

United States, Statutes at Large, Washington, D.C., 1918, Vol. XL, pp 553 ff.
A portion of the amendment to Section 3 of the Espionage Act of June 15, 1917.
The act was subsequently repealed in 1921.

SECTION 3. Whoever, when the United States is at war, shall willfully make or convey false reports or false statements with intent to interfere with the operation or success of the military or naval forces of the United States, or to promote the success of its enemies, or shall willfully make or convey false reports, or false statements, . . . or incite insubordination, disloyalty, mutiny, or refusal of duty, in the military or naval forces of the United States, or shall willfully obstruct . . . the recruiting or enlistment service of the United States, or . . . shall willfully utter, print, write, or publish any disloyal, profane, scurrilous, or abusive language about the form of government of the United States, or the Constitution of the United States, or the military or naval forces of the United States . . . or shall willfully display the flag of any foreign enemy, or shall willfully . . . urge, incite, or advocate any curtailment of production . . . or advocate, teach, defend, or suggest the doing of any of the acts or things in this section enumerated and whoever shall by word or act support or favor the cause of any country with which the United States is at war or by word or act oppose the cause of the United States therein, shall be punished by a fine of not more than $10,000 or imprisonment for not more than twenty years, or both....

You think it's a "fine idea" to CHANGE THE SUBJECT when you've made claims you can't substantiate.

I'll repeat myself...

It's stupid to "dislike" people because they don't share your opinion on the war.

You brought up racism and lies.
What racism?
What lies?

================================================== =======

But regarding the citation you gave of the 1918 law, war-hawks toss around accusations of "treason" and "sedition" WAYYYY too easily. People have a difference of opinion and they voice that opinion, or they criticize the government, or they report the illegal actions of the government, and the war-hawks can't handle it. They start in with these inane accusation which would have NO legal backing in a court of law.

Can you show me a legal indictment? Somebody in the legal field moving towards an indictment?
Or is all of this just lame talk?

I don't mind if people don't agree with the war. What I do mind are people undermine our effort and that is clearly going on. This was not happening during WWI or WWII. Clearly, our country has gone looney. Jane Fonda got by with it during Viet Nam so people think they can again and are.

It's fine to have your opinion. What you do not have the right to do is interfere with the government's policy. You do have the right to vote to change that policy by voting in different administrations. You do not have the right to interfere with the will of the people which is clearly what obstructing the war effort does. The administration was voted in by the people and is legal. Your disagreement with how the war is run does not give anyone the right to obstruct the effort. Argue all you want, but do not do anything that hurts America or gives an edge to the enemy. Your nation is at war and the left doesn't get it or choose to get it.

Once again, NO substantiation for your claim.
Responding to questions but NOT answering them.

Explain EXPLICITLY who in the left, and WHAT they did that would be classified as "sedition".

And on another note, isn't it interesting how the right makes all these grandiose complaints, but they have no problem with outing CIA operatives FOR POLITICAL purposes...

I never obstructed how our troops are operating on the ground, nor has my political ideologies, and I guess I fail to see how "the left" is doing this and if you could please indulge me into exactly how they are, I would thank you. Not only is "the left" not in a power to do this, but they are also not undermining any justifiable war effort on the part of their country. How the administration was voted in is debatable, and on that premises there should at least be room left for tolerance of that sort of questioning, because our democracy hangs in the balance.

Do NOT go there alias.
Do NOT presume that you have the "will of the people" backing you on the war effort, because poll after poll shows the "will of the people" is EXTREMELY dissatisfied with the government's handling of the war in Iraq.

The "will of the people" is very pissed off at the ineptness and the lies that the Bush administration has promulgated...

You keep on about this "obstructing the effort", but you have yet to explain PRECISELY WHAT "obstruction" you are referring to...
