These conspiracy theory nuts crack me up! Quote: |

Seriously. I have read very little from her "books". The stuff on the book jacket and similar commentary. I can't get past the MINDLESS partisan nature of the set-up. Seems devoid of intelligence. How to Talk to a Liberal (If you Must) ???
That, and I've seen her do a brief appearance on "Bill Maher". I think she treated the thing sparingly, because she only had a few minutes and they weren't really looking for a topic discussion. More "partisan" commentary, but thoroughly matching the demeanor of the show she was on. (Her comments fit in with the type of show it was and what was expected...)
I've read Al Franken's commentary on her (Lies and the Lying Liars...).
He had better comments for other chapters than he did for her...
That's about all I know about her.
It's hard to take her seriously when she comes off so mindlessly partisan. I would believe that she probably has some good points, but I just wouldn't want to wade through the b.s. to get at whatever points she has...
(And I say that acknowledging a perspective that others may see some like Bill Maher in a similar light, from the other side of the fence...)

And if I have to spend the night with one of them, can I gag them first?

And try to make sure the gag stays in place, long-long-term. |
