We know you love your country and your children. We know you share the same concerns as all white and Christian Americans. You want to be watching the war on TV just like the rest of us. You think Tom Daschle is an obstructionist commie and want what's best for the country, like we do.

This war on terror is a just war, a good war, a true war, and we know you'll support it with all your heart, no matter how long it takes, or how much it costs, because you are easily distracted.

The only way out of this situation is to impeach Clinton again so that businesses can create new jobs for nobody, really, but it sure sounds good. But the Clinton-loving Democrats are trying to take your hard-earned money and give it to people who live in luxury from hundreds of welfare and unemployment accounts instead of the military where it belongs. If you're a patriot instead of a commie bastard you'll help us kill queers and commies here and abroad to help get our country back on its feet and keep us all safe.

Remember, if you want our country to be competitive and not be bombed by godless brown turbanheads, put the House and Senate back into the hands of the people who are like you, who are nothing like that bastard Clinton, and who want to give you guns and as much bullshit as you'll swallow while we laugh all the way to the country club instead of feeding illegal Mexican immigrants who immolate your children. Ok so it was this guy making a mountain out of a molehill and playing to some peoples' fears of a nationalized education system by comparing Obama's desire to see outstanding teachers get a raise to a total takeover of the education system by the feds and not you?

I'll let it slide this time, you were only parroting someone else's overblown rhetoric. It wasn't technically you emoting. (Run parents! The Gub'mint is a-coming to completely take over your schools! Your say will mean nothing anymore if Obama is elected!)

Perhaps if the Federal Government just performed those functions it was originally responsible for it could collect its taxes from tariffs and the individual states and leave all the social functions at state level?

If social functions were at state level then states could compete and competition leads to a better product like Welfare has proven. It used to be managed at state level and some states were more generous than other states so if you didn't like the welfare in your state you could move to a state that had a better welfare program... maybe that would work for schools too?
