I have voted in EVERY election in the past 26 years. NOT ONCE have I been asked an "exit poll". NOT ONCE!

Exit polls actually tabulate a VERY SMALL PERCENTAGE OF VOTERS.
Exit polls only operate in certain precincts.
Exit polls are skewed by those giving them.
Exit polls are NOT guaranteed accurate, because the people who are asked do NOT have to give an accurate answer.

QUESTION: Why, in god's name, do Democrats think exit polls are more accurate than the election itself?

ANSWER: Because they didn't like the outcome of the last 2 Presidential Elections.

Exit polls are a crock. Only the cry-babies don't realize it!
http://www.eriposte.com/election04/2004_results_1.htm#I
Again, I will ask for evidence showing that the 2004 exit polls were within the average margin of error compared to other exit polls. No one is claiming that exit polls are more accurate than the election, the argument being made is that the 2004 election exit polls were significantly more innacurate and that is a long standing indication of fraud.

Is it your contention that this did not happen?
I don't know it happened until I hear the names of those who are accused of doing it. Thanks for the info. If this is true, those guilty should be prosecuted to the max.

"llegal Handling of Absentee Ballot Requests by GOP in South Dakota mushrooms into a scandal, amid resignations; many ballot requests were not even submitted; six Republican notaries charged with a Class 2 misdemeanor and three plead guilty [via Sdindc at Dailykos, Dailykos, Josh Marshall and Buzzflash]: Jeff Thune, nephew of Republican candidate for Senate John Thune (running a very close race against Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle) is under investigation for falsely pretending to be a Notary when collecting absentee ballot requests from prospective student voters. Additionally, even though he claimed 75 applications were notarized - the applications were never notarized or submitted to the county auditor."

I think that this says it all!!!! You will note that it is dated in 2005, far removed from the actual election and actually addresses several of the issues that have been mentioned and brought up here!!!

http://www.ac4vr.com/reports/072005/...roduction.html

I believe that this statement is the most damaging of all:

ACVR Legislative Fund further found that, despite their heated rhetoric, paid Democrat operatives were far more involved in voter intimidation and suppression activities than were their Republican counterparts during the 2004 presidential election. Whether it was slashing tires on GOP get-out-the-vote vans in Milwaukee or court orders stopping the DNC from intimidating Republican volunteers in Florida, the evidence presented in this report shows that paid Democrat operatives were responsible for using the same tactics in 2004 that they routinely accuse Republicans of engaging in.

I think this is further evidence that thre needs to be majoe election reform in the US. I don't want Republicans or Democrats stealind elections. I don't know much about the group that published this article, but if there is creadible evidence that Democrats were involved with election fraud the guilty parties need to be charged with the crimes they committed. If we can agree that either Democrats or Republicans were involved in election fraud, we should agree that we have a problem that either party could exploit and we should agree that we as a public should be aggressive in our campaign to fix this problem.

Everytime we have tried to address election reform, outcries have came that we are trying to deny minorities or the poor of their right to vote. Simple measures like requiring of a state issued identification card have met resistence, normally from those on the left. Why is this? I mean seriously, does the requiring of a state issued photo ID really place such a burden on people?????

Missouri enacted a reform that required an individual who registered to vote in the state, to either show up and vote at their polling place which required them to have a photo ID and then sign the election roll, or if they were applying for an absentee ballot for the first time, to have previously voted in the state and signed the roll or who have had their signature card notorizied, or have appeared in person to the Election Office to sign in front of witnesses. This whole process was challenged in the courts, by you guessed it, the Missouri Democratic Party. Luckily the courts in Missouri upheld the reform. I guess one too many dead persons had voted in St Louis, and the electorate as a whole was fed up with it, and the Courts feared the backlash that would have been caused if the law was overturned.

Most people want election reform, however, how do we enact it, especially in the face of opposition from so many on the left, when simple measure like having ID are challenged. People register to vote, and receive their voter registration cards that tell them where to vote, yet so many either fail to read or show up at the wrong voter poll. Much ado was made about people who were denied the vote because they failed to vote at the proper poll, well I am sorry but if you are not smart enough to show up at the proper polling place, just maybe you are not smart enough to be voting.

I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this.
Don't forget about the 300,000 ballots in Miami Dade County as well. It's one thing to win an election, it's another thing to disenfranchize voters.

Diebold, Hear This: We Won't Rest
Diebold makes voting machines that are used in 37 states, but they provide no verifiable record and lack even basic protection against fraud.

Since you liberals are so smart, why don't you just use telepathy to transmist your votes. That way, you don't have to worry about any mistakes.
