Debates would also be more interesting between 3 candidates instead of 2 candidates, weeks before election day.

A debate is like an infomercial. The candidates are selling themselves.A change in the format would be needed, make it totally unscripted. That would be more informative and more interesting.

I agree,to a point. What makes you believe that a 3rd party candidate will be any different? At that level, they will be throwing out as much as any other candidate be it dem or rep.

The problem is the electoral process we have prevents people from swaying from the two centralized parties. People feel that a vote for a 3rd party is a "wasted" or "spoiler vote". A new, more fair, system called proportional representation is the best solution to this problem I have heard so far. Some benefits include: 1)greater voter turn-out 2)campaigns tend to be issue oriented rather than popularity contests 3)minorities and woman get much greater representation under proportional representation.

Are you kidding me? That woman isn't playing with a full deck. I saw her nearly break down and cry on a TV debate when someone corrected her (and they were right).

Sorry, I don't remember what show. It was one of those news media debate shows. She is the most immature adult woman I have ever heard speak on television who claims to take themselves seriously.

I'm being extremely serious. Completely under-developed emotionally.
